Ask a Warrior Thread. - Secun - 2010-12-16 Never played a Hero, but I'd go with Combat Mastery unless you train solely off bosses like some people. I just know I'll have max Elemental Resistance and 11 points on Magic Crash but they're not until the end. Get Dragon Blood first (very useful in training), then Sacrifice (though you won't do much bossing at where you are right now, unless you are Papping at earlier levels), then Roar. I think someone made a thread that has a list of post-BB Mastery Book drop list. Cyph0n Wrote:Which skills should I max on my DK? By 120, you will: 1) Have everything maxed out except Elemental Resistance (level 11 ER) OR 2) Have everything maxed out except Magic Crash (level 11 MC) Ask a Warrior Thread. - Depnoa - 2010-12-30 Hi there, my DK is nearly 120 (Only a couple more levels to go, easily attainable in the next week or so), and I was trying to figure what skills to put points in at 120, you know the 3 we get with the job advance. I know for sure I'll put one point into Berserk now, since the HP threshold was reversed and it becomes useful very quickly. I was also thinking of putting a point into Beholder, for the extra 2% weapon mastery. I might just put both into Berserk at least until it gets to level 10, since 60% HP threshold is pretty easy to maintain. Not 100% sure on that. Anyways, my dilemma comes with the final skill point. I'm pretty heavily split between Rush and Monster Magnet. Monster Magnet has a larger range, and draws the mobs in. However, it only affects a max of 6 at one time. Rush on the other hand has a shorter range, but pushes you forward and handles up to 15 mobs. Rush lacks the stun effect though. In terms of increased training effectiveness with a DrK post-BB, I was wondering if anyone had input on whether Monster Magnet or Rush would be more useful for grinding? Also any additional advice on ordering priority of Berserk (I have a 20 mastery book right now), and Beholder Summon (Extra 20% mastery?) would be appreciated. Thanks. Ask a Warrior Thread. - Stereo - 2010-12-30 I find Rush much more useful than Magnet personally (Dark Knight's 122 now with 1 of each) cause Rush doubles as a movement skill. Ask a Warrior Thread. - modular - 2010-12-30 rush and magnet are opposites - rush is for when you want to move, magnet is for when you dont. only having 1 leaves you incomplete; i recommend 1 in each asap. then leave them alone until 18x or so. you can forgo 2% mastery for a level, i doubt it will help as much as either rush or magnet. the usefulness of either one depends on the map. at lycans, magnet is far better than rush. at skelegons or ToT, rush is better. however, any map has niche situations for both skills. Ask a Warrior Thread. - Depnoa - 2010-12-30 Alright, so just with a quick glance over, I formulated something along the lines of the following: (It should be noted that this character only solo grinds, and does not boss) 120: Zerk +1, Rush +1, Magnet +1 121: Zerk +3 (4) 122: Zerk +3 (7) 123: Zerk +3 (10) (Pass Zerk 20 book?) 124: Either Zerk +3 (13) or Beholder +3 (3) 125: Either Zerk +3 (16) or Beholder +3 (6) 126: Either Zerk +3 (19) or Beholder +3 (9) Assuming Zerk 20 passes I'll push for Zerk to 20 first then go for beholder to max, otherwise I'll have Zerk at 10 and push beholder to max and go from there. At level 129 this yields: 1 Rush 1 Monster Magnet and either: 20 Zerk 2 Beholder or: 10 Zerk 10 Beholder 2 Something else. Does this seem stable? Ask a Warrior Thread. - modular - 2010-12-30 level 120 looks perfect ![]() how do you access the 4th crusher hit? does it come from just advancing to drk, or from putting x points in x skill? Ask a Warrior Thread. - WillDaSnail - 2010-12-30 modular Wrote:how do you access the 4th crusher hit? does it come from just advancing to drk, or from putting x points in x skill? Putting one point into Berserk will get you an additional Crusher hit. Go below the hp threshold and you get knocked back down to 3 hits Ask a Warrior Thread. - Stereo - 2010-12-30 In terms of average damage, points in Beholder (for mastery) are slightly better than Berserk - so I'd stop adding to Berserk when you're comfortable with the HP threshold. First priority is being able to use Berserk near 100% of the time of course. Ask a Warrior Thread. - WillDaSnail - 2011-01-04 So...I realized that I will be maxing Berserk in just one level from now, and that'll leave me with one SP remaining. The pre-BB build after maxing Berserk called me to max Rush, Achilles, and possibly MW (20), but BB came and made a lot of changes to a number of DrK skills. So now, this is what I'm thinking: - 1st option: Rush has been changed in terms of damage dealt and distance traveled when used. At post-BB Level 1 Rush, I travel a bit further than pre-BB Level 1 Rush. Given that information, should I just keep Rush at 1? Or max it? - 2nd option: Hex can now stack with Dragon Blood and gives much more Att boost as well as other buffs. (Note that Att buff and defense buffs stack, but Acc and Avoid doesn't. The latter probably won't matter since BB patch made Acc not that important anymore). And it won't cancel out any stronger buffs. I was thinking about going ahead and maxing Hex. Good idea? At max (Level 20): Buff every 4 seconds, duration 100 seconds, +35 weapon attack (stackable with DB or any att pot), +300 physical defense (stackable with Iron Will), +300 magic defense (Stackable with Iron Will), +120 accuracy (not stackable), +120 avoidability (not stackable) - 3rd option: Put points into Achilles? This skill, post-BB, remains virtually unchanged. Any suggestions? Ask a Warrior Thread. - Jamie_Kurosawa - 2011-01-04 Max Hex... since it'll give you a nice boost all around, go for it first. |
