Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - Twilight - 2011-05-26 Don't ever use King's Armor if all 3 of your opponents characters are alive. Save it for when you're about to kill the 2nd or DHC Arthur out. Have a character on your team with an assist that can control air space. (Doom Missiles, Shuma Mystic Ray, Taskmaste Vertical Arrows) Other character should be either someone with a get off me assist (Tron Gustaff Fire, Haggar Lariat, Skrull Tenderizer/Stone Smite, Hulk Anti-Air Gamma Charge) or someone with a ground lockdown assist (Iron Man Unibeam, Chris Gunfire, Taskmaster Arrows, Sentinel Force Charge). My Arthur team i've been messing around with is Arthur (Fire Bottle Toss) Super Skrull (Orbital Grudge) Taskmaster (Vertical Arrows) Don't get too comfortable throwing projectiles around characters with teleports. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - Loose - 2011-05-27 Currently using Arthur (Daggers), Haggar (Lariat), Deadpool (Guns). That Fire Bottle is useful for getting people off of you and starting combos, having fun with lances going through projectiles and using Fire Dragon to punish assists. With Haggar, I've been abusing that Headbutt to stun Sentinels waiting on that crouching Medium and Frying Pan super armor, it's hilarious! If Spider Man is S-Tier because he only needed one Hyper Combo bar, does that make Phoenix S-Tier too, and Akuma A Tier? ![]() What really impressed me was Ammy. I had no idea you can continue to ground bounce an opponent repeatedly right after sending them up with Okami Shuffle. That must have taken insanely good reflexes. I'm very sure it is, but it's still the fact he only needed Maximum Spider as an ender so he can possibly do a 100% combo with as little as 0 bars. Everyone else needed at least 4-5 bars to even make their 100% combos plausible. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - >Pineapple - 2011-05-29 That spidey loop is nothing new, but wow I never though chris could kill no xf in one combo. He used 5 meters to 100%, not 1 meter. ~500k combo, then 2 Grenade Launchers, and then 1 Satellite Laser. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - >Pineapple - 2011-05-29 IllegallySane Wrote:Chris? Huh? Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - Twilight - 2011-05-30 Finally played someone else from SP only took 2 months @.@ Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - Miek - 2011-06-02 Good games justin! I hope to see what you got after you've practiced enough! your zero has great pressure!
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - Justin - 2011-06-02 Yeah Zero's about all I've got going for me right now, I need to find a second and third character that I actually click pretty nicely with.... and that compliment zero as well. I just got my fightstick so now I'm trying to learn zero so I can do some of his more advances stuff that involves holding down his buster shot during a combo. Working great so far. I find that wesker does well with him, but then again wesker does well with pretty much anyone. You're going to need a character whos assist holds them in place after you use your QCF+H in the air (the dive). Characters I find especially useful for this are tron (her assist is broken, seriously), or anyone with a beam or multiple hit projectile like doctor doom or taskmaster. Combos are actually doable on zero with my stick such as: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - >Pineapple - 2011-06-04 Am I the only person that has trouble doing dragon punches on a stick? I can't consistently do volcano into beehive as dante. I can't consistently do volcano into beehive as dante. For some reason, I can do forward dragon punches, but backward dragon punches are the bane of me. For example. it's a total pain for me to do Tron Bonne's drill rush or Wesker's counters. However, I have no trouble with stuff like Ryu's Shoryuken. *Oh DERP. You mean on a stick. Sorry, was thinking controller. However, I'm sure I'd still suffer a lot of trouble doing a reverse dragon punch on a stick. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - >Pineapple - 2011-06-05 I can do > dragon punches easily on my stick but I can't consistently execute left dragon punches properly. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General - Twilight - 2011-06-16 Anyone still playing on the PS3? Add Boeyoyo. I'm getting tired of playing Wolverines all day. |
