I made out with a guy who I am not interested in past friendship, it was a dare at a drinking get together but I have small worries he got the wrong impression. Whatever. My job at Kroger is so ridic easy all I do is stand a gawk at cute boys, I want the middle eastern twins to Eiffel tower me before I move to San Antonio ffs. I'm training my replacement at Michaels, waiting on my review and raise, and still haven't heard anything about my transfer and I'm scared as pineapple. All I know for sure is that I have the experience to branch out, I don't have to do design for Michaels or Kroger I can go to any floral shop and present myself and my design capabilities and hopefully get a job if all goes to hell.
One day I'm super pumped and confident, the next I'm a disaster ugh being an "adult" is no bueno sometimes.

JK I'm not really lonely I'm just thirsty. Other than that, rather boring day. I'm about to go smoke, work was ridic boring, crushing hard on these twins at work I should just hit on one but they are so ditzy I don't think they'd understand what I was trying to do.

On Sunday I worked from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. I left with my friends/coworkers and headed to North where the drinks kept getting weirder as the night went on (my last one had cucumbers and cilantro in it). I crashed on my friend's couch around 4:00 AM.
On Monday my friend/sous chef woke me up at 8:00 AM with a resounding "what the pineapple are you doing here" because he had been asleep when my buddy/his roommate got in. We hit the bong and watched Twins which is a very funny movie when you are on drugs. I left and searched Federal Hill for my car whose location I had forgotten sometime around the fourth gin and tonic the night prior. I took a nap and woke up just in time to see my best friends' band In Depths & Tides practice which I hadn't had a chance to do in quite some time. I ended up helping them shoot their video update [on upcoming shows and their new album]. I drove their vocalist home and based on our discussion and what he thought of my vocal samples, I think I might try out for his friends' new band (ex-members of Insect Inside).
Today I'll be going into work and getting out early enough to head to the restaurant group's other location in order to hopefully ask out a waitress who...
- I am very much attracted to.
- has told a few of my coworkers that I am exactly her type and refers to me as "eye candy".
- has a boyfriend already.
...because the first two points outweigh the last in my eyes.
I have been kind of down after coming to terms with my diagnosis of manic depression but when I'm able to look back at these little moments in my life, I know that it won't be much of an obstacle against my long-term and very abstract goal of "happiness". I love my friends.

[COLOR="#0000FF"]Got back results for my 1st test - A. Happy as pineapple because it was a fucking difficult paper. My other friends started hating on me because I got A while they failed / got Ds. I don't even know why.
I get a better grade than them, they hate me.
I get a lousier grade than them, they laugh at me.

Took up the piano/keyboard as a new hobby this past week. I must say I'm loving it. Knowing how to read sheet music (leard during my band days) already really helps. So far just getting used to playing with 2 hands. I plan dedicate half to a full hour a day on this hobby, and see where that takes me. Hopefully before I die I will be playing metal on the keys!

Haven't been on Facebook for a while. Decided to scroll through my profile to see what I'd been doing for the past year. I was a god damned loser.
I remember reading a quote in 2011 that said, "If you can't look back at yourself from a year ago and not be embarrassed, you're doing something wrong". I used to think of this, remember myself from a year ago, and be so proud that "I'm so much better now". Two years later, I realize that I'm going to be thinking the same thing every year, and the year I don't feel this way is the year that I've fucked up somehow.
