Finally hit silver after I decided to get on yesterday and today and play some games for the first time in a longggg time. Carried my way through as support taric and jungle naut. That was fun. NOW TIME FOR GOLD BEFORE FREAKING SEASON 3 STARTS. I WANT THAT SKIN.
100 elo, should be pretty easy. These last few games have pretty much been a complete cakewalk anyway.
^@Corn : I *love* when people do that. It's HILARIOUS. In the last game I played we got an early kill bot. I went back to get my gp5 and refresh wards while graves stayed in lane. A minute later he dies at their turret because he's turret diving a half-health sona. So I hold the lane and preserve as much cs as I can for him for when he gets back. But because I was tanking both the enemies and the minions I had to go back shortly after he came back to the lane. Not 2 seconds after I recalled he dies again because he's trying to 2v1 them for a second time. He then proceeds to try and 2v1 them for a third time.
Shortly after his 3rd death we were chasing an almost dead Cho up the river. Our jungle lee sin missed his Q and graves started yelling at lee and how bad he was at the game. I simply said "Graves I think you should worry more about getting cocky and overly-aggressive than a single missed Q
" and he FLIPPED A TIT ON ME. It was the *funniest* thing I had seen all day oh my god./long story for little content

Did some preparation work in the past few days to brace myself for some ranking spree that's tba. Also did my usual bouts of ARAM.
I fully expect to hit 1500. The question for me though is how much further can I climb?

I expect you to, at the very least, get to the 1700s-1800s ELOs bracket, possibly higher. This isn't me merely spraying you with praise. I know how well you play as well as your extensive knowledge of mechanics. At the very least I expect you to get to the ELO bracket I mentioned. It's time for you to get out there and shine.
Also, as you already know, top ELO = ELO determined for S2 rewards. Which means if you lose one too much ELO (tilt, not doing well, etc), that won't have an effect on the rewards you'll get. Now the question more will be like "will you push past your fear of negative factors in ranked - notably feeders, trolls, etc - to play as many ranked games as possible?"

This is what I'm doing. My top rating is still silver, with an 1151. That qualification match just got me into silver. After my losing spree I've finally managed to win a game, gaining back 40 elo and I'm now at 1123. Hopefully I can get some wins and get my rank higher than the lowest tier. ; - ; At least my team ranking isn't that low.

Tell the servers to stop derping first. They've been randomly having "connection" spasms and fits for EVERYONE. Even if it's a side-effect of the drop hack floating around. Nothing pisses me off more than technology failure.

If I remember correctly, let's just say one uses an illegal program to commit a DoS/DDoS attack against a designated targeted player (or players) while in-game. Due to the overwhelming amount of packets sent to the target(s), the result is that the targeted player(s) DCs and in many cases, they are unable to reconnect.
And a lot of damage has been done by people using this program with malicious intent. (Think of influencing matches in an unfair manner by suddenly turning a game from a 5v5 to 5v4, 5v3, 5v2, 5v1, 5v0, etc. And in many instances, drop hack was used when the user of the hack was on the losing side. Now apply that to ranked, and you got a potential catastrophic scenario in the making)

I want to duo q later because I need to bump up my elo and I need to improve my top lane anyways
