Proof? 'cause, the one video of a shadower seems to state otherwise.

Doh. I could have sworn that you said Mexo Esplosion dealt a high fixed damage per meso drop. I must have remembered it wrong. Sorry.

*Aho! Aho!*

- Shield Mastery's max level decreased to 10
- Chakra's max level decreased to 10. The end result is the same.
- Assaulter's max level decreased from 30 to 20. MP cost increased slightly. Now attacks 1 mob 3 times. Damage increased by +90% at all levels.
- Band of Thieves damage changed to 410% and only attacks once for each mob. (was 230% * 2 strikes, is now 410% * 1 strike)
- New skill --> Shadow Partner. The max level is 20. MP consumption is 80 and consumes 1 summoning rock per use. It lasts for 180 seconds. The Shadow Partner's rate of damage is 40%. The skill is added for third job.
- New skill --> Flash Jump.
- Meso Guard's max level reduced from 20 to 10. The end result is the same.
- BStep's damage reduced to 390%
- Assassinate's damage greatly increased to 610%
- I'm pretty sure Nexon meant to increase the level of Pickpocket, but they didn't. Instead, they removed the maximum level variable. Tespia is going to be lol.

Fuck Nexon and fuck this game, but this makes me happy. Really, we deserve this. I'm really happy for any of today's Shadowers that feel like they've been jewed out because of Nexon's carelessness; we've always been at the bottom of everything.

Not anymore. I personally wouldn't prefer having a rip off of a Night Lord skill, but I'm not complaining. DPS will reach critical mass and we'll be in "Party A" for boss runs where we belong. Have fun, Shadower master-race.

Zacairga Wrote:Honestly, I wish they'd leave our skills at their original dmg and take Shadow partner away... Flash Jump is a Godesnd, though, that can stay.

If they wanted to give us a second skill give us Meso Up. That + PP + ME would be awesome.

But then Shadowers would be weaker than what they are currently (in KMST)... I cannot speak for how the new critical system works, but 4 hits @ a lower percentage is better versus half the hits at double the percentage due to both KB and how criticals used to work (again, not sure if this is the truth anymore in the new system).

Still looking for the first 3 hits of Assassinate to critical though, I still haven't seen a vid showing otherwise Frown

I think crits being additive is a thing of the past now. So it wouldn't matter.

We're not out of that neck of the woods yet, sadly.

We'll be just as strong as we are now, and I'm very, very happy with our current strength.

I hate damage obsessed buccaneers. Made my day hell today.

Shadow Partner doubles the number of attacks. If you would have hit one Crit and one Noncrit without it, you will hit two Cits and two noncrits with it. It does not create additional chance for critical damage.

The damage with Savage Blow is: a + b + c + d + e + f, where each letter is a different number on screen.
With Shadow Partner, it's just: a + b + c + d + e + f + 0.4 * (a + b + c + d + e + f). Not: a + ... + f + g + h ... + l

All it does is clog the screen with damage shown and take up space in Etc from Summoning Rocks.

With our Crit system (the additive) though (which I was mistaken in thinking had been disproven), like CBFrancisco said, it wouldn't increase the chance but the damage would if there were seperated hits.

Oooh. Additive crit system would like lower base percents better. *facepalm*

Wouldn't it make sense for all classes to have a critical strike in some fashion anyway? Example you hit a monsters weak spot you hit "critical" right? Soooo..

What happened? And if they're damage obsessed they're going to eventually flock to the Night Lords as usual, and all will be right with the Maple World.

I think Fiel said it before, but you need an unpatched client and a patched client and you compare the differences. Something like that. Okay, it's a lot more complicated than that...but you get the idea.

We do not teach that sort of thing here. There are sites & software specifically devoted to the subject, we recommend you google them.

On topic: I was wondering, why doesn't Nexon do with Paladins the same thing they did with Heroes? You know, putting Blast in 3rd job and giving them a more powerful skill? [/color]

Because that would go against the balance they set for these classes. Paladins are for defense, rather than the power that heroes are known for.
