I knew it, but rarely use a cannon(partially because my best cannon is lv15 white lol) in dungeon, I'll give it a try xD. No, they ignore attack speed. Attack does still matter. Just double checked it, attack on weapon don't matter for all the big gun skills. I don't know why, but they say these skills have "set damage". Str does affect it tho. Another interesting thing, all launcher skills are physical, except the explosion of styer is magical. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - USMC - 2009-10-05 Mmm you're right, just tested it on pratice. Tho it seemed less affected compared to my fighter. My fighter does 1.2k hammer kick usually, without weapon it does 3xx. Gatling does around 600, but still does 300-400 without weapon. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - MasPan - 2009-10-05 Pretty...Except I don't use Light Armor.
Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Loose - 2009-10-05 I'm working on a Brawler, just to check out which skills they have. Name is Upper, currently level 11 ~ 12. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - MasPan - 2009-10-05 OMG I LOVE STEYR! It's insane - the initial hit is nothing impressive, something like 200-300. But the explosion, OH GOD the explosion - 750-1k damage on EVERYTHING within a large blast radius. I took 1/2 of a bar of Dragonoid Nest's boss's health on Kings with 1 direct hit o.O Steyr + Flamethrower = RAPE on the little random dragons. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - mrcowcow - 2009-10-05 And finally I advance to Berzerker at like 70% on Level 18. I lost all my pretty skills just to save up points for skills in later levels. And I'm stuck with Gore Cross, Mountainous Wheel, Dire Heart (spellin'?) for now. That's pretty much all I have. o_O Though it's intense and awesome to fight with attacks that consume HP, but dish out massive damage. Yup. L> Floating Castle Master runs for my Gunner. e_____e Since it's simple, easy, and I need Weightless Fragments. >.> Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - MasPan - 2009-10-06 I've been farming Elven Drake Wine from Dragonoid Tower King lol. It's jolly good fun, and I get to blast the boss in the face with my new Dreadnaught ![]() Looks painful, no?
Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - mrcowcow - 2009-10-06 Holy crap bro, how many pots do you use when you run a King's? I can't even run a King's myself without wasting like 2 MP and 2 HP of those Sky Tower Dew/Mist things. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - KajitiSouls - 2009-10-06 MasPan Wrote:OMG I LOVE STEYR! It's insane - the initial hit is nothing impressive, something like 200-300. But the explosion, OH GOD the explosion - 750-1k damage on EVERYTHING within a large blast radius. I took 3/4 of a bar of Dragonoid Nest's boss on King with 1 direct hit o.O 1300 damage eh? The last I remember, my kick skill did 2800+ damage to Lakius (said boss in quote), although that was a critical hit (1.5x damage). But that looks like a sexy crowd clearing attack! mrcowcow Wrote:L> Floating Castle Master runs for my Gunner. e_____e Since it's simple, easy, and I need Weightless Fragments. >.> I'm up for it tomorrow, although I already did that quest o.o It doesn't seem like it's satisfying upgrading existing skills. There are a few out there that make a definite "omg yes!" at some point, but for the most part it seems not worthwhile upgrading skills, unless you've got enough to constantly combo with skills. Today's accomplishments... I bought a Mountain Village Tonfa from someone for 75k. I dunno if that was cheap or not, but I had enough money to throw around anyways xD Also, I found my first recipe! As always, most of this stuff in the spoiler is up for trade.

I don't touch HP potions, and I use 2 Magic Flowers (80 MP), but I can run it without MP potions too. They just make things easier. He's an easy boss if you predict him. Get him to drop a cage, dodge it and wail on him. When he gets up, get pretty far away to not get hit by his lightning. Repeat. Even easier for gunners, since we can fight him at range with Gatling (and Steyr in the case of Launchers). I do full runs, and there's almost always a health fairy in one room. @ Above, remember that the delayed explosion allows me to hit and run, or to chain it with flamethrower/gatling for some insane damage outputs. In team PvP, it also means I can wail on grouped enemies even harder, especially someone who is retreating. My BBQ also dishes out some pretty serious hurt, a guaranteed 1430 + 48%x10 (so 1430 + 480%). Of course, it gets lowered by defense, but it's still a guaranteed 1.5k that immobilizes an enemy and makes me invincible for a short time. Also, Steyr is a long range skill and extremely fast. Generally the function and execution remain the same though. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - mrcowcow - 2009-10-06 Meh, I have to get in close to do the same amount of output as you do then. I guess it'll change in my 30's when I get Moving Shot and Wild Shot. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - MasPan - 2009-10-06 KajitiSouls Wrote:PvP specs =/= Dungeon specs. Generally the function and execution remain the same though. I understand that, any numbers were pure PvE. I was just describing functionality for the most part. The specs are still relatively comparable - 2 attacks that deal 1500 will still do roughly the same damage in PvP, with the exception of some that would be a bit too OP. And yea, Launchers are a beast at long range, but we have some serious mid-range game too between our handcannons and AoE abilities. Close range or mid-range but same plane a ranger will wipe the floor with us, with one noteworthy exception - with a decent level of a certain skill, every time we pull out a heavy weapon we initiate a super-knockback type effect on nearby enemies, resulting in them being immobile for a brief moment as well. During which time period they are pummeled with the attack :p Timing plays a key role though, as doing it too soon or too late will result in it being dodged. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Tikey - 2009-10-06 KajitiSouls Wrote:
I'm interested in that. Trying to get a lot of +MP/min so I don't have to rely on Library and pots as much. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - MasPan - 2009-10-06 Also, Kaj, I made a thread for DFO trading/selling/buying/swapping, please use it
