How did you find maplestory? - rassilon - 2009-03-30
Sometime in 2006, I was spending a lot of time on a web forum for the .hack// anime and games. I noticed a fair amount of people had MapleStory avatars or signatures, plus there were some MS ads on the site. (Ah, the days before I AdBlocked everything...)
Consequently, I have yet to beat any of the .hack// games and end up playing Maple when I can't think of anything better to do.

I caught the infection from my son.
He wanted to try it because his cousins said it was great. However, he doesn't read English, so he was constantly asking me to read him quest instructions and skill descriptions and so on. At some point I grew frustrated with him not taking my advice, and made my own character, thinking, "I could do this better".
He still plays, but a lot less than I do.
