I finally caught up on the last 2 concept updates and oh my god this .gif was worth looking at repeatedly.

I'm almost certain they will break the next milestone, which is $100,000 away. Yay for a challenge mode soon?
I think the project will reach as far as the Extra End Stage & Boss ($2.55m). With the kickstarter slowing down, I don't have much hope for anything higher. The game is already a success with the console milestone.

Something about the character that I don't really like.. I think it's black/grey part that are used for the arms and legs. If anything I think if they got rid of the lines, it would look better. Still looking really good of course, it just kinda bugs me.

Latest video is a 40minute interview with Inafune:

I love how non-Japanese his mentality is; it's really good to see.

Edit: I'm HOPING we can hit the extra end stage boss and stuff. Challenge mode looks like it's a given, so I'm really hoping for that extra stage/boss. I need ALL the content!

Keiji Inafune Wrote:Well what I've been influenced by is actually not games so much, but other media -- like the show "Heroes," the Peter Petrelli character who could absorb powers. In Mega Man you took weapons from the bosses, but in Mighty No. 9 you take their abilities -- part of this idea came form that show.
Also the anime Cyborg 009 -- it had nine cyborgs, all of whom were great characters, all with distinct personalities. That was a big influence as well, since I want to make the robot bosses less disposable in this game -- I want to give them more personality, and make them more important and memorable.

Oh my god. I think I'm going to love this game a lot more now.

Oh, I remembered Cyborg 009 back on Cartoon network, when they showed anime in earlier times.

Extra end stage and boss is a good note to end on. Kind of sad we won't be seeing an intro stage and boss + support character though.

It's still possible. Even though the milestone is far away, it doesn't mean we won't get it. They could sneak include it.

Also, total is now $2,700,000 with PayPal added on (I THINK that's how they calculate it...)

Looks like we're getting Co-Op mode too o_o

Campaign ends in 4 days!

Vote for your favorite Call design: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9/posts/611851?ref=activity

I personally chose C as that one is the only one in my opinion that fits the description of "being different than Beck, basically a pure robot". She also is the only one who looks like she could fight. The others looks like they're too timid and can only serve coffee.

I'm feeling F and H. H might be serving coffee, but F sure as hell won't be.

F, i'm just a sucker for the zero ponytail

B is SO ADORABLE.

It's easiest to picture going through a stage with F though.

Hm. Choices.

Keiji Inafune's "Spiritual Successor" to Megaman: Mighty No.9 on Kickstarter! - Celan - 2013-09-28

I'd honestly say F.
She's got something Zero-esque, with that ponytail.

C seems too flipped off, and... E looks like a Stewardess.

F, with a rather neutral expression, would defiently fit in.

B and E remind me of panty and stocking (their face's).

F. Looks the best, in my opinion.

Leaning toward F as well.
