I don't have a way to quantify that. I also find it somewhat flawed since there are numerous ways to screw up and you can't really learn not to screw up. Best you can learn is to try to keep them manageable and how to recover from them. Not like the size of the mistake has anything to do with the profundity of the lesson anyway. I could nuke the whole world and the best lesson I'd learn it "dont push the red button" but that's not going to be particularly useful anywhere else in life.

I would have more free time, and that vacuum would be noticable until I filled it with all the other stuff on my to do list.

I am not even betting on whether it'll ever see the light of day at this point. If/when it finally comes out it will do nothing for the Maplestory community, except provide a handy point for everyone to exodus to. Most of them will hate it. Some will stay anyway. New people will come in and a new culture will be born.
How that relates to us remains to be seen.

Stop aspiring and start being. I was coding at 12.
I learned to code because I actually had things I wanted to do not because I thought the concept itself sounded cool.
Find projects you care about and/or specifically interest you. As in want to make better or change in some way. Immerse yourself. If you can't do either it's probably not what you're actually interested in and you should reassess your goals before locking yourself into a thankless uninteresting job you'll resent.
