i could try my hand at that f3 if it's not too complicated (as in, you mean only the glow, not the actual insides)

Well, I made mine white simply by inverting the colours. If you'd like to have a go at it the colours are dark purple, yellow, green, blue, orange and yellow.

a bit, you want it going from inside out, or top to bottom or how? (as in, center is dark purple, then it shifts to yellow, then to green, in that order)
since i don't know photoshop it kind of is a bit of work, so i'd rather do it in as few tries as possible.

Inside out would be the easiest.
You'd be setting yourself up for a lot of pain doing it otherwise.
