Hackers - Mashi - 2008-12-13 Just one out of the thousands of Hackers. Hackers - Avenge - 2008-12-13 Mashi Wrote:Just one out of the thousands of Hackers. But if they spammed notices with tons of names daily, then people would get annoyed and start complaining that they Notice them too much, just like last year. Just because someone isn't banned in a notice doesn't mean they don't get banned. I'd rather them not use Notices though, because that's just a message to the rest of the hackers online "QUICK, LOGOFF!". It's nice to know they're starting to do something though. I have no problem with the hackers all deciding "OK LOGOFF" They're not gonna be able to block hackers until they update GG or patch, I'd rather the hackers all running scared than just running around ruining training maps. Hackers - Mashi - 2008-12-13 They should multi ban people then do... cm.dropmessage('#amount reported users were successfully banned.') every so many people. Hackers - Hazzy - 2008-12-13 It's funny how Odin devised an almost flawless anti-vac system about a year ago. All it takes is a few GMs online to check !cheaters. .__. Big deal. There are atleast 2-3 godmoding bishops/arch mages at newties at 7 pm - 11 pm, and I see the same ones day after day. Hackers - ThatSkyGuy - 2008-12-13 All they have to do is develop another anti-hacker system. Like, um, GMs coming on more. 3 mil+ active players is a very big community. But when they post the lists, they've already cought the people on the list, so logging off doesn't do crap. You don't need to be online to be banned

I remember someone saying that if you get the GM police message you can just End Chat to avoid getting banned. >_> I guess it sorta works the same way when you GPQ, on the combo stage to avoid the summons you press end chat. =\ Nexon....making me T_T Hackers - SlimShady - 2008-12-14 Hazzy Wrote:It's funny how Odin devised an almost flawless anti-vac system about a year ago. Serisously odins !cheaters command would let gms easyly detect hackers, or suspected hacker. A couple !warp <hackers ign> and boom hundreds of hackers banning in mear minutes. I don't know much about that system but I doubt it would work here based on the following reasonings 1. People who hacked in Odin probably weren't as sophisticated as ones who hack on GMS. Less protection on odin so hacks can be used there than in gms 2. Player : GM ratio is a lot larger in gms than private servers 3. For all we know, hackers could be getting banned all the time, it just doesn't announce it. If a hacker got banned every 10~ seconds or so, well you know how annoying smega spam is. Really though, it's impossible to stop hackers. Nexon just does what it can by updating their system/gg/whatever which stops a vast majority of them for the time being. Then a new hack comes out, and they gotta repeat the process all over again. It also mistakenly banned people for lagging sometimes, which is not really a good feature considering how GMs in global absolutely refuse to consider that they may have made a mistake on a ban. Like ANCIENT. Back when I was doing Ludi PQ in the first months of 2007, AC hackers were beating legit parties in the PQ. It was adapted to FM, but for whatever reason Nexon never did anything about it. Don't ask me why, but this one's OLD. Hackers - FoolsLove - 2008-12-14 Quantact Wrote:Auto-click is an ancient hack. I can remember them dating back to early Scania days from kPQ "L> Party with AC!!" Probably existed in Beta too, I just never kPQed then. Hackers - FelixTM - 2008-12-14 Blue Kents at Bera, holy frick. I saw a hacker vaccing it up oldschool in every single channel. FABULOUS! Do you mean the real old-school vaccing from the first hacking breakout, or the ones from last year? :O Hackers - Hazzy - 2008-12-14 Quantact Wrote:Auto-click is an ancient hack. Like ANCIENT.
