You should add 70-80 himes
its ... godly exp o.o

um another thing is
whenever your friend lets you tag along for their zakum fun run go and leech exp
you get like 200% in about 15-20minutes from 1 zrun Biggrin

That's not exactly the thing to be doing if you actually want to train though. I'd imagine it wouldn't get put under the guide.

Ever since i took over this guide, i was aware that himes is a possible place for clerics to train as low as 65. however, the problem with including it in this guide is that unless the player is already well connected/gets extremely lucky, then it would be nearly impossible for a cleric or low level priest to actually be able to train there.

in general, i don't include unusual leeching methods in this guide because the guide is stuff that is recommended for the majority of magicians rather than for those who can somehow manage to get into zakum groups at level 50. it would simply be unreasonable to include bosses as a place to train. (in other words, you don't tell 5x magicians to go train on zakum)

Is the Master Chronos map any good for training on, for clerics late 5x-6x?

Why not go to wraiths? o_O

Master Chronos is an feasible option for training, but it may be a tad bit slow. Even with the new better map change, it's still not as smooth as you'd probably like as compared to the wraith map.

Training Reference For All Magicians - randompeep - 2008-08-15

Would the jr wraiths all over pf do any good for 3x f/ps and clerics?

oh yeah the way my current build is going I won't be able to max both poison brace and slow by 70. It'll either be brace maxed, slow 18; slow maxed, brace 28; or brace and slow maxed, but tele 14. which should i do?

I like having options. 10 levels of Wraith can get boring. Cool

I started completely not-missing Himes at 92. 70 I was missing quite a bit but was still able to hit.

they should be good, but watch out for bigfoot spawning.

and as for posion, 28 is all you need because you don't actually need to do damage with the attack itself. 28 will give you enough poison percentage and duration for a poisoned monster to go down to 1 hp.

Training Reference For All Magicians - Arkentau - 2008-08-20

Leprechauns are hot sands exp at level 53 (11% an hour on 1x exp, lol) but i made 900k in 40 minutes.

The bad thing is, sometimes a HH will spawn.

Note i'm an i/l mage and it's 1 lit to break their bag form, then another 4 to kill them.

Also also note, if you get 30 lucky charms, you can get another 100k and 50k exp, so it turns out to be decent exp anyways, or if you're greedy, sell them for like 100k each since they drop barely ever.

and after 40 minutes of training in my map, i got 41 of em.

I'll post the map name later, right now i can't remember what it's called.

Training Reference For All Magicians - EchoFaith - 2008-08-20

lepechauns is probably good for meso farming for all the classes, but if this ever gets fixed, i would say that i'd have to remove it.

of course, i'll need the map name to add it Tongue

Training Reference For All Magicians - Arkentau - 2008-08-20

Map name is creeping Evil, just stand between the 2 bags on the right as they have a very qucik respawn rate, and watch out for the headless horseman. for the love of god, turn MG on too, >_>.

Training Reference For All Magicians - Ceriun - 2008-09-03

Hey Every1! rly love this post! Specially cuz my poor PriestWannabe is without many attacks other than Holy Arrow, 18Points of Shining Ray, and of course Heal... Although I'm quitting 'till dicember since I have to pass some extra classes ¬¬... and I'm stuck at lvl 87... (wanna get Genesis ASAP so I can take my revenge against all the Hermit-KSers-Wannabes Hothead )
ANYWAYS I'd like to know where can I go train with my Girlfriend Ice/Lightning Mage 9x Heart and my best friend Ranger 10x Biggrin. I have no Dragon Knight friend, and somehow, I have a terrible bad luck everytime I find a DK to train with... Rolleyes they always DC, leave party or quit maple Tongue (em... I'm not that bad... I can take MANY hits)

Ok... Whatever... where can I go train with a I/L Mage and a Ranger?

Thanks!

squids. if you have a good control of your character, and are pretty gutsy, gobies. if you're even more gusty, then himes. also depending on level, you can split newties. the archer takes the sniping spot. the i/l takes the top right spot where ice strike will be hitting the most things and somewhat safe. the i/l would need to be around 10x. the higher, the better.

Training Reference For All Magicians - xLeviathan - 2008-09-08

Perhaps you can add Hoodoos/Voodoos to the 50-60 range for Clerics.
I started at 54 and mostly everyone I talked to started at 50-52.

It's about 8-10 hit kills but since you can mob all 4 the experience is better than Wraiths.

best place for a level 33 cleric to train in ossyria?

Monster Carnival. I really don't think any of the Orbis or El Nath monsters are good for 3x, except maybe junior kitties. Monster Carnival is free experience because you don't need potions, and lots of people will invite you just because you're a Cleric.

Whenever you can kill the kitties easily, I'd suggest training on the ones that potentially drop the Flaming Feather. You'll need one for a quest at level 45 (Manji's Ragged Gladius) and if you get an extra one they sell quite fast. Jr. Lioners also drop mithril ore, which is another good money-maker these days due to Horntail runners always needing plates. Biggrin

butterfli Wrote:DTs suck. Someone should notify the Training Reference Guide monitor.

Wolf spiders > everything for mid 7x till mid 8x.

In terms of both exp and mesos. Not to mention the slim chances of ilbis.

The above was in response to me asking what people thought about Death Teddies for training these days. Of the three replies, nobody thought they are still a good idea.

They still have a "%" indicator, however, while Birks do not. Why?

Birks: Weak to ice, 32,000 HP, 1420 EXP
DTs: Not ice-weak, 32,000 HP, 1300 EXP

Birks have better EXP:HP ratio and come in mobs just as big as Death Teddies.

Also, I think they are easier to deal with than Wolf Spiders due to both the map layout and the fact that they don't jump. (There's also the glitch with WS that makes you not able to hit them sometimes.)

So do DTs still deserve a better label than Birks or WS?

(I've spent a lot of time there, because often I don't really want to spend the extra time going all the way to NLC, especially at times of day when I might have to fight for a channel.)

Training Reference For All Magicians - EchoFaith - 2008-09-20

ah yes, how times change. honestly, the time for dts to acknowledge as outdated was probably months ago.

only problem is that all i really do is post what people say. since most of my experience has been long outdated, the training reference is quite reliant on more current input from people who are around those levels.

what i get out of your post is:
1)DTs should not have a blue % sign anymore

what i'm not sure about is:
1)if ws deserve a blue %
2)if birks deserve a blue %

generally, training grounds are added without any labels because not enough information is around to really prove that they are that much better (or worse) than the other options listed. so you'll have to tell me if you think WS or Birks deserve any labels ^^
