I think it only checks every second or two if you have the buff.

I don't see berserk (aka Dark Force) working as an auto-buff when you equip an auto-buff gem. The reason for that is that the skill is sort of a passive skill since you don't really see the skill on the top screen. You see it from the animation it gives around the character but that's it. It only works when your hp is above a certain point.

Not everything, there are skills on the list that are labeled "Not confirmed."
The reason why I have to wait for the people to test it out to confirm if the skill works or not is that I'm not taking any chances. I made some errors labeling the Shadow Partner as "no" meaning it doesn't work with Auto Buff as well as Mirror Image, which they do. It's annoying this way (I do have to agree with you guys though) considering you have to buy a pet along with an Auto Buff Gem on certain classes that can't share cash items (There might be pets that can Auto Buff you, but pet skills isn't implemented in GMS, so I can't be 100% sure.)
