Personally, I think this is worse as only the dupers will have large quantities of protects now.
Once phantom comes out, they change charge virtually anything they want for a 20%ed cane/protection services.

I had PLANNED on remerching these a few months down the road after some new weapons came into the game and the supposed "FIX" to empress coming.
