I don't remember that ever being an option, I thought it was just set as 'accept' by default? I've changed the email address on my main account three times now too. (the others didn't get a code xD)

I feel somewhat inclined to believe the newsletter thing is the case, simply because it's the kind of thing I would make sure to leave unchecked on anything I ever sign up for >_>

No nx here and I though it's cuz of my dads email settings (yah, 5 years ago I linked my acc to my dads one, cause the mail I had back then didnt work). I have a feeling it's just cause my account is 5 years old, and european. I'm probably last in their list.
