LongShotJohn Wrote:Usually just add meatballs to "The Feast" and call it good. I generally do this to try and conserve actually by getting two meals out of it. One time though the server (whatever you call them in this position) actually asked if she could watch me eat it :f6:.

That's hardcore.

I normally get the spicy italian with everything on it on Italian bread. Pretty tame...

Subway is OK, but I prefer Penn Station.

I only get the footlongs anyway...though I guess I could get 2 6" ones.

I'm so happy to see all these Spicy Italian lovers.
I usually go with a spicy italian on italian herbs and cheese, pepper jack cheese, lettuce onion pickle jalapeno mayo mustard salt pepper oil vinegar. There's a new jalapeno bread out, I might get that next time....

But baw, the spicy italian isn't on this 2 dollar 6inch. Meh, might as well shell out 5 dollars for the foot long. :3

When I went to subway for lunch on thursday last week, the 2 people in front of me got spicy italian, and the 2 people behind me.

it was glorious

Ill stick with my footlong Chicken Bacon Ranch with pepper jack cheese and chipotle sauce instead of ranch. Slap some olives, pickles, onions, and banana peppers on there with some avocado and we are good to go.

I'm incredibly boring when it comes to sandwiches, I guess; I just get turkey and provolone, nothing else on it. Suits me just fine.

Hey, just cause I'm a carnivore doesn't make me any less boring. I only get what I listed and no veggies or sauce. Ok, I do put provolone on it, but that's it. I tend to be boring in everything I eat, and it even annoys people sometimes. Ever hear of a town called Plano (phonetically plain-o)? I was born there. But really, eat what you like and don't give a damn about what other people say. Sure you may regret not having the pallet to enjoy certain things, but live with what you got.

Oh, I certainly enjoy eating even without all those toppings; honestly, I think they just flavor over/mask the real taste of the meal, the meat. The only spices and stuff I like are hot stuff, like the hotter Asian sauces. I love me some Mongolian Grill type restaurants. People think I'm the strangest person in the world for disliking tomatoes and all of their byproducts. That means I don't like tomato sauce, aka, I don't like pizza (unless it's in white wine sauce, which I do like). People look at me like I'm insane :l

Italian herb and cheese with cheddar cheese, chicken fillet, barbeque sauce, salt and pepper. That's me. Keep that salad away from my sub.

Try the meatball marinara with a tray of diced chicken on each side of the footlong and extra american or pepperjack cheese.

It is the be all, end all of sammiches. Big Grin

Hahahaha.

Clark Howard just explained the motives behind this sale. Fast food restaurants thrive on young men, as demonstrated precisely by this thread, and because young men aren't working much these days they have to find a new way to appeal to them. And it's clearly working.

He also said you'll probably be seeing a lot of more of these sorts of deals moving forward.

I miss that Meatball Marinara w/ Pepperoni combo they had going on at Subway ;~;

Not in France either, though they have the 6" sub of the day for 2,90 euros.

I usually take Subway Melt (ham, turkey, bacon), Italian BMT or "boeuf en tranche".
Load it with some french cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, olives and that spicy green thing they have.

$2 Subs at Subway - FrozNlite - 2011-12-11

Interesting sandwich combinations ya'll. I love Italian Herbs & Cheese too but since Subway introduced their flatbreads I haven't gotten anything but.

I usually get the turkey melt (turkey slices with melted cheddar) with spinach, tomatoes, black olives, green peppers, red onions, and chipotle southwest sauce. So good.

I also get the veggie delite on occasion because, unlike Rick, I love salads in my subs.

Reading this made me way too hungry.

On a side note, my managers have been making me run to subway for them ALL month while this was going on, cheapest lunch in the area.

I don't complain though, getting to leave the store while being paid is a nice time killer for a portion of my shifts

Italian BMT on honey oat with provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and olives. Add in some mayonnaise and sweet onion sauce and you got my favorite Subway sub.

Today i remembered why i hate my country, 10-14$ (Approximate change from my currency to $) for a 6" subway -.-.
