They should just maket he brawler a 1 hand axe user so it's not a useless type of weapon.

Or they could just add it as another type of mech equip and screw the sairs / pirate legend. Rolleyes

Or the legend could be a SPACE PIRATE from the future (farther into the future than Bing ever was) with more modern guns that could equip such a thing. New category of Assault Rifle or something so that one weapon isn't stretched between 3 classes. They arrive through a rift opened in the space-time continuum caused by a careless / experimental Buccaneer's Time Leap. Glitter

Demon slayers?

Not saying I'm very well versed in the subject but I thought they got their own speciality weapon, like mercedez

The "Sceptors" are 1H BWs, and DS can use any 1H BW or 1H Axe.

And I've noticed that the heroes all have a ~~completely~~ somewhat new concept about them. Aran has combo counts, Evan has the dragon, and Mercedes has a new weapon.

They're untradeable and therefore hold no value whatsoever. Extremely stupid to perfect such an item when it isn't going to be "the best" for long, especially with 140 set.

@above: It isn't a "new weapon" that makes them a "new concept", it's the fact that it's a double handed ranged weapon. The first of its kind. New weapons have been done before. (kataras, cannons) Double handed has been done before. (dual blades, though it isn't really the same thing because they for some reason wanted to continue using daggers) Ranged double handed has not been done.

Wild mass guessing here, but I'm thinking they're just going to make at least some of the current thief and pirate classes the Legend ones. There could be expansion on Kirrin's and the Dark Lord's story. Hell, let's have Kirrin have come to Vic in the Nautilus to hunt down the Dark Lord for betraying her in the past, and have an epic ninjas vs pirates story.

Useless NOW? They've always been useless since 2h Sword was just flat out better due to the speed alone. Even before BB, you very rarely saw any WKs / Pallys using 2h Maces, unless it was the VIP one.

Betray for what exactly? Considering Dark Lord already has a misunderstanding similar to that in DB's storyline, that sounds like a really terrible rehash of "their own" story.

Pirate hero will will surely be a Bucc with a 'rage mode' gauge. Each hit done to them makes them stronger, then they transform once when enough hits are applied. 2nd transformation when even more hits applied, then 3rd transformation(Super Saiyan 3) when the hit can one hit kil lyou? O.o

Just an idea haha As he transforms, the only gauge to watch for is the 'rage meter' which becomes both your hp and mp. Every hit drains it till you transform which fills it up. Every attack takes a percentage of it off as well. Good idea or bad? haha

As he gets more angry, he gets stronger and sprouts more arms to fight. As for MS I don't think the pirate hero having 6 arms will fit well in the game, so I went with the next best thing.

I doubt it, Dual Blade being a hero and pulling a Madara (before we knew about 559), I'm 500 years old I could see, but the other Pirates and Thieves don't have story lines so making them heroes would be dumb.

Anyway I see Theif Resistance and Pirate Legend as most likely. Pirate VS Thieves would be cool though.

Though in Akyrum, the Maple Alliance was just formed so it'd be kind of backwards for a fight to break out between the Maple Warriors, right before they launch their attack on the Black Mage.
