I wasn't really looking forward to a merge since I went to Kradia in the first place since I didn't like how crowded Bera was. At least there will be more people and hopefully I can meet some people who are willing to LHC when I play again after I finish my finals.

This should end well for yellonde. Lately I've been convinced that only 15-20 different people actually play in yellonde... the other characters are just our mules. Serious though, I hope this gives our players an better/cheaper flow of high level boss drops, since HT slaying is rare and CHT is practically unheard of..

As a Yellonde player, I was expecting a merge with Demethos. But after realizing other servers before Yellonde are also empty, this works just as well.

I don't really see a problem with giving Scania more space at the expense of nobody except Nexon or do you disagree? Neither Yellonde or Kradia (or any other server for that matter) would be affected if my wishful thinking becomes a reality.

I don't think you understand that making a server merge WILL alter those server's overall lifestyle in maplestory and merging them with scania would therefore be a selfish act for scania. Merging yellonde and kradia is a good idea, and they should never touch the first 4/5 servers.

They can't just add channels. That's a patch, not a fix. they need to limit character creation or something that actually lowers the population. Increasing the channels would work for another year or two, then what? Increase again, and again, and again?

Forget merging, they should just give scania more channels. At least give us another so we have 20.
It doesn't need less people. I love having more people to play with. They should just merge all worlds and make it 100 channels so you can play with everyone.

Well a combination of your suggestions would be nice. I didn't realize that wishful thinking had to be taken so seriously or that giving an extremely overpopulated server some extra space was such a bad thing. My bad.

I'm pretty sure they specifically said Maplestory is not a single server game.

I think what MapleSEA did was add a suffix to the guild name. So maybe something like VillainsY and VilliansK. You then could email Asiasoft to have your guild name changed.

I think this is what happens.
Say there is one guild in Kradia called Heroes, and one guild in Yellonde with the same name.
The Kradia one will be called Heroes_K, and the Yellonde one will be called Heroes_Y.
At least that's what I heard.
