The only reason I pointed out the Madonna similarity was because GaGa fans love to think that everything she does is original. It's annoying. These days, when a female artist does something outlandish, they're "copying" GaGa, yet when GaGa blatantly copies from her predecessors, she is "paying homage".

Tupac said in a documentary the excessive use of the n-word was because the term, at least to Rappers, now means buddy, or friend, while the term used by anyone else can be taken for that or as an insult. Early hip-hop artists were simply changing something bad to something good for themselves. Also notice how no mainstream white rapper (well, these days that's only Eminem) has ever used the n-word.
