Seems a tad suspicious, the download page, and the irony on why it's easy to see why MS is great. Because people would stumble upon it, I bet.

That's not true. I praise them when they do something right. Its just that they almost never do anything right anymore, and its hard to praise a company that has been scamming me for so long.
There was a time when I approved of nexon, but that was back when hackers were noticibly banned, when they released good content and before I started having problems with them and started noticing 5 or 6 glitches per patch.
Edit: I think the most recent thing I praised them for was the Hunter's Luck event. After that event, they just havent done anything good worth mentioning. But I might change my tone after nexon fixed that Elemental Wand/Staff issue. They still havent compensated anyone, and the bonuses are still gone.

The bolded part doesn't quite make sense...if you don't care about how fast or slow a computer runs, your code should not be very compatible/robust/efficient to allow it to run on just about anything, no?
Or do you mean that the users are illiterate...and the developers have to cater to that fact? But if you do mean that...then wouldn't NexonKR be such an odd-ball out? Yet...they're successful?

I think he's referring to hardware requirements. Because they don't spend the money upgrading their hardware, their code is built to run on slower machinery, thus their games can run on pretty much anything because it's built to run on something slower than what the average consumer actually has.

(Which I find a good choice, since they're pretty expensive for lowfunded mages). As for compensation: Why? They're still pretty good: 130 wands have 145 base matk, 103 staff is beast for BaM because of fast speed, and 163 is just godly. Only the lv 70 wands are abit useless now. (they look cool though

Couple things I noticed:
- They use Windows 7, yet issues occur on Windows 7.
- They have some security issues, WINDOWS UPDATE. DO IT NOW NEXON. (bottom right)
- They use Mozilla Firefox, while IE has not even been touched, yet their first release of the site said that IE was their favorite and most safe.
- Lul. Paint.NET
- The person supposedly on the computer is not supposed to know how to play, yet the MapleStory process is available (look at the bottom)
- They showed the job GM with Battle Mage job with about 1k Power Elixir. (I thought it was just awesome to see a real GM online, probably on a test server since there is no one there, and the GM is not on Hide)
- While using paint.net, they also use MS Paint.
- Never thought they would use CCleaner (next to Recycle Bin)
- They record their videos a week before releasing (look at date, 1/7/2011, released 1/14/2011)
- They have their very own (NEXON Drive) look at windows explorer.
- They use DELL.
- The MapleStory dev team seemed pretty small (there MIGHT be more, but we never know)

The promised compensation has still not been given, and Battle Mages are getting a 33% dpm increase from the speed of the Elemental Staves. I dont see how giving Battle Mages that high of a boost from the staves and removing the lower 25%/10% bonuses is balance.

Saying Nexon made BannedStory's developer stop using GMS content is quite a way to distort the truth. He emailed them asking for permission to use their IP and, as any rational company would do, they refused until they further discuss the case with his lawyer.

He did? I'm not sure since I don't have any proof but I remember that in the explication he did on why he would stop using GMS content he was like just asking if his site was ok with them and other stuff like that some people starting playing maple thanks to it, I think to avoid a lawsuit (maybe due to them crushing ps owners), they answer back not understading what he wanted, then he replied that if it was ok with him using it, that he didn't share how he was getting the content with the public and that he also removed the ability to download it, after that I don't quite remember what they replied but mainly it was that he should stop using their content.
