As the sun rises on Gotham, everyone awakens and rushes to their computers. They see that an email has arrived from The Joker, with the subject line reading "IMPORTANT MEETING ANNOUNCED." As every villain opens the letter, they read and see that, as the title so blatantly shows, that The Joker has decided to hold a meeting for the purpose of "finally ridding Gotham of Batman and his little orphan annie crew once and for all!"
As the villains assemble their things and head to the abandoned warehouse by the docks, Batman intercepts one of the emails intended to go to Penguin. Luckily enough, as he had been arrested the night prior. He opens the email and notices the one line of text in particular. "When you arrive, dress in concealing clothing. It's not that I don't mind looking at your hideous mugs, but that frankly I know if not for me none of you would ever consider working together. This is to avoid any unneeded fights."
Batman, deciding to take an opportunity as prime as this, sneaks into the abandoned warehouse dressed in a long, dark cloak.
"Greetings everyone, I am The Joker! I welcome you to this most secret of gatherings of some of the most evil masterminds and cunning cutthroats of all of Gotham. Now, I would like to begin by saying tha--wait a minute, where's Penguin?"
Suddenly, the TV sitting on the wall changes to the local news cuts to a reporter outside of Arkham Asylum.
"And this just in, we have confirmed reports that The Penguin is currently behind bars once again in the Arkham facility. He was found last night on the ground outside of the gates, bound in a rope with a note saying 'keep him locked up,' written by The Batman. Also, we have confirmed reports from downtown Gotham that xBTAx has been found frozen solid in his apartment room, and is currently in Gotham Central Hospital to be de-thawed, and reports indicate that MasPan has not reported in to his job for the past several days, and it is unknown where he is currently. When friends tried to reach him, he was stated to have said he 'was out taking care of some personal matters, and will be back when he is finished.' Back to you in the office Jim."
Joker turned to the crowd of people sitting before him. "Well," he started, "it seems like we are missing some people, but this is but a minor road block that we will get through. Everyone, I suspect that Batman may be in this room as we speak, so I would like you to keep your masks, hoods, and robes on and, come sundown, decide on a person to eliminate. You all will be forbidden from leaving, but you all did as were told and brought changes of clothing and toiletries. Now I'm through talking to you, so begin the hunt for ol' bat brain!"

xBTAx is currently frozen, and will not be able to attend the game for this day.
MasPan is currently away due to unforseen circumstances and should return shortly.
Day 1 will end upon reaching a majority vote at 9:02 pm EST

Dark summed it up pretty nicely. It's a rather risky strategy, but all too often people don't want to take that step to lynch people, so I've tried to get the game going early on. Whether it's helped or not is debatable, but it's a strategy I feel works towards more good than harm.
And who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and manage to lynch Batman.

We're trying to get him to defend himself. If you haven't noticed by now, Synthesist never talks. So I usually say "he's useless, blah blah blah blah blah" which gets him angry enough to talk.

As for the Synthesist votes, that's because he tends to post and vote very little, if at all, and thus many people consider him harmful to the town's day side of things.
