[1.2.340] Empress Skills - Random_Overlord - 2010-09-11 It's not like I need Wind peircing anyway... I got dragon's breath that I can use to spam over and over rather that crappy delayed skill. Soul driver would be more popular among loladins since they can Elemental charge + Soul driver and do loads of damage. [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Lozmaster - 2010-09-11 Dusk Wrote:I know that, but he mentioned multipliers. After Bigbang, every damage formula is x*(4*mainstat+ secondary stat)*attack/100, where x is some multiplier depending on your weapon, it varies from 1.00 to 1.75 I think, so it seems a bit redundant to me to keep adding straight x- extra Att because some are going to benefit a lot more from that than others [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Satellite - 2010-09-11 So why would I bother to level my cygnus to get skills for my Bishop that I don't play? Cygnus is still as useless for me and others who play Evan,Aran, ( DB?) and Resistance. What I'm worried is that this buff will break the balance that they just created between adventurers and legends. I mean cmon, you guys get extra skill and extra buff that gives you weapon att?
[1.2.340] Empress Skills - Manaphy - 2010-09-11 (Jaw falls) ![]() why it sounds so like Private servers Rebirth from Cygnus knights into Adventurer? :f6: [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Worthyness - 2010-09-11 Manaphy Wrote:(Jaw falls) YES and then you can RELEVEL that character to where you currently were on your previous"main", just without the added benefit of the Cygnus skill! [1.2.340] Empress Skills - kremechoko - 2010-09-11 I think people are misunderstanding a big thing. Your 120 Cygnus does NOT turn to level 1. You just get to make a Ultimate Adventurer at lvl 120. [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Kabanaw - 2010-09-11 Satellite Wrote:So why would I bother to level my cygnus to get skills for my Bishop that I don't play? Uh, er, what? Have you not read up on anything about Ultimate Adventurers? They're created from a KoC. And plus, I'm pretty sure the new empress blessing works on all characters, not just adventurers. Not that bad, considering how everyone and their mom is going to have a char of every available class. What's scary is I know three moms from in-game that plays with their kids Combattente Wrote:The whole Ultimate Adventurer thing doesn't really sound much interesting. The new skills for Cygnus Knights like Empress' Call (adds 20% maxHP and maxMP) and the Empress' Prayer do, though. It looks like they want Cygnus Knights to have more HP for a future fight against the Black Magician. What's strange is the classes that were supposed to fight the Black Magicians have the lowest level limit and damage output. If their level limits are raised, they'd overpower other classes and contradict the whole purpose of them being an "easy" job. If they're buffed or other classes nerfed to put them on even footing during the final battle, everyone would raise a CoK just against the Black Magician. The only way to solve this is to have a CoK Black Magician (half-Black Magician) and a normal Black Magician. I read somewhere that Lionheart's Kingdom was taken over by "half-Black Magician" and he sold his soul to the "Black Magician" to get it back so this might be possible... *shrug* I have long since given up on trying to make sense out of this game because it makes as much sense as Chewbacca on Endor Satellite Wrote:So why would I bother to level my cygnus to get skills for my Bishop that I don't play? I've seen many friends start or raise their KoC even though they have a 4th job character. Usually people who start KoCs are ppl who are too lazy to build a char properly and just want the easy way out b/x they don't really care about the game. Usually they end up bailing out once they get bored with KoC too because MMOs are mostly about grinding and perseverence. They should stick to their Nintendos and XBoxs I'd say :/ [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Cancambo - 2010-09-12 larmie Wrote:What's scary is I know three moms from in-game that plays with their kids But you live in Japan. [1.2.340] Empress Skills - zesdac - 2010-09-12 Hey, now I am puzzled, I can't understand why the max level of the Ultimate Adventurers' exclusive skills is changed from 16 to 5.

They are both learned at level 50 but the 5 level one will reach max power at level 90 instead of level 200. Isn't that any better than before? [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Firebirdies - 2010-09-12 I'm not sure if this has been answered but what would happen in this case. I have a level 120 cygnus that gives me the level 12 blessing of the fairy on my adventurer, when this comes out will I lose the level 12 blessing of the fairy and only get the level 24 blessing of the empress? Or will my cygnus still give me the level 12 blessing of the fairy along with the level 24 blessing of the empress? [1.2.340] Empress Skills - FenixR - 2010-09-12 I have a simply question: Does the Blessing of the Empress (The lvl 24 skill) works ONLY with UA or does it work with all classes? [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Xiger - 2010-09-12 It works on all classes. [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Mike - 2010-09-13 Spadow's blog shows some other skills Cygnus Knights will receive. Finally, a much needed boost for 'em. [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Cancambo - 2010-09-13 The blessings don't stack. ![]() http://ellinforest.com/forum/showpost.php?p=85457&postcount=27 [1.2.340] Empress Skills - CarrionCrow - 2010-09-13 Cancambo Wrote:The blessings don't stack. So you either get 20 att bonus from a lvl 200 non cygnus or a 24 att bonus from a lvl 120 Cygnus? I approve of this. Less broken and gives Cygnuses a purpose instead of just being an easy flashy trial mode of Maple. [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Turtally - 2010-09-13 Cancambo Wrote:The blessings don't stack. So Cygnus characters are still what they were in the beginning: blessing mules. [1.2.340] Empress Skills - Chameleonic - 2010-09-13 The Empress’ Blessing does not stack with Spirit’s Blessing. In the description of the Empress’ Blessing skill, it says that the effect will only apply if one of the blessings is higher than the other. So if you have Lv. 20 Spirit’s Blessing and Lv. 21 Empress Blessing, the effect of Empress’ Blessing will apply. After Big Bang getting a Cygnus to lv 120 should be quite achievable. |
