Scarlion and Targa can crash your game just like the rest, its just not as big of a chance.

I got my computer back on Thursday with a new video card. I switched from nVidia to ATI and I'm rarely DCing / crashing now. I've only double DC'd 3 total times out of the 4 days, but I've yet to actually boss on my comp.
I've always read that Vista and W7 had some issues with nVidia cards, but rarely any with ATI.

I got Win7 64-bits and an ATI card. During normal play, I never lag or DC though I still suffer from keys glitching up and swap places at times (having to press - to get ? etc). At bosses though, they are still as glitchy as they were on my Vista compy with nVidia. The graphic change method works to avoid DCing at least at Zakum, and that might be different from people with nVidia since in this topic it sounds like nothing works to avoid the DC.

Either my memory is failing me hard, or I must have gone crazy. I submitted a ticket a while ago about this and demanded that they extend my shop permit to make up for not being able to use it. The ticket has had 5 "we're sorry, backlog of tickets" responses and is still open and unresolved, but I think they actually extended it by a month
. Although, it's been a LOOONG while since I even tried to go into the FM to use the thing, I swore it said that it expired in September before and now says October.Still haven't fixed the issue though.
