I had a few lessons in elementary school, but I didn't learn touch-typing until after taking a class in the 5th grade. I do know that I did type in complete sentences before then since I did when I played my first online game in 1996 (some thought I was female since I typed coherently).

When I first came to use the keyboard, I typed with my poking indexes. I still kinda do.
