this has been in KMS since forever and I've always hated it. It just adds a dozen extra steps to your startup process.
Fortunately, there's a "gamelauncher.exe" for KMS that allows you to bypass this, so we'll probably be able to do that.

Are you automatically logged on when the game opens or do you still have to enter your info in the client? Because it seems pretty weird to me for your account to be logged on if you just use "gamelauncher.exe". How does one use it anyway? Is it just in the MapleStory folder?
I really hate starting a game trough a site, it sucks if you switch accounts and the game seems to start a lot slower for me (my computer sucks though).

I'm lazy enough as it is in MS these days, but this has made me lose any motivation at all to level my lower leveled characters on other accounts. If they keep on separating things (like the cygnus/aran CS inventory) like this, among other things, I may be able to finally turn this break into outright quitting. Something I've been meaning to do for 2 years now.

It's just in the maple folder exactly like normal. The only difference is it'll give you a warning saying "you should log in through the site" and then you can say "no I don't want to".

In KMS, they don't use the pin system like we do, so it's hard to know how that will work. They have a PIN/second password upon selecting the character though, so even if you like, walked away from your computer and left it logged in on the site/saved password/etc. they wouldn't be able to access your characters unless they had the second password. The second password is optional for them, though.
