firstly i think it should have its own continent,like a far land where darkness lays?
like you go from el nath's wolf territory to a new area leading to the mountain and an npc will take you from there "fly" and take you to the far land..
about your idea,i think it should be like everything of a kind,like that thing in cygnus kngihts' quest that the puppeteer converted monsters to the black wings,so the "infected" mushrooms,octopuses,yetis and lycanthropes will be there but in a stronger form
and the dungeon will start off with infected snails,infected mushrooms,and etc.. up to new monsters to train on like infected wolves and infected skeles(like in aran's tutorial!)
