I was completely exhausted last night and couldn't wait to get to bed, and then when I did, I couldn't get to sleep.
I had a VERY interesting dream about Darren Criss (I regret nothing) and woke up at 8am, not feeling rested at all. and then today I've cooked for my whole family, helped my uncle renovate his house and went with the family to the store for a massive shopping trip.
I'm sooo tired and still aching slightly from the gym yesterday morning. Definitely gonna sleep soon. Hopefully no romantic dreams this time, but I doubt it since I was listening to him sing earlier. eurghhh. Haven't had a celebrity crush like this in a long time haha

Haven't been on for a bit, over that fact my laptop started to overheat like mad. (It used to hit around 170 degrees.) But crisis avoided...whew.
For a while, I've been thinking about the year so far, and honestly, I've been crying over spilled milk, and letting myself get caught in the past over and over again.

Orthodontia is EX-PEN-SIVE holy cow.
Braces aren't too bad, but the kind of surgery I need to fix my mouth is amazingly expensive. To fix the jaw and my malocclusion I would need to get double jaw surgery to the tune of over $40k. F that. I hope my insurance covers it. *crosses fingers*

You need surgery for a malocclusion? I had minor malocclusion because I was missing adult teeth but my braces pulled everything together with a little gap to make sure everything still aligned properly.

The day was nothing too special, we learned who we were going to offer positions to for the resident directors (now called Coordinator of Residential Education).
The night, however, took a great and unexpected turn. My friend from high school (who I had a crush on) messaged on facebook saying she was on campus and the were exploring an abandoned part of the property called Scary Dairy. I joined her and her friend and went exploring with them. She's still pretty damn cute. I hope she hits me up in the future for more fun
Edit: The morning is bitter sweet. I came into one of the lounges to wait for a bit before heading to a presentation, and sleeping on a couch inside is the girl I've been trying to date. I still care for her a lot, and I hate that she's sleeping out in a lounge like this, but she doesn't even want to be my friend anymore. It sucks, cause every time I see her, I just become happier, but then I become worse off then before because I can't talk to her. This will be a tortuous summer.

Back story: The last thing my ex said to me was "Your head is stuck in the past because you're afraid to move forward. To me, you're a coward." I've never wanted to set out to prove anyone wrong so much until hearing this.
My close friend logged on Maple since quitting a year ago so I logged in to chat with her in person. Unfortunately, so did my ex (though his was by complete chance). I could tell that my ex is trying to speak to me again lately. He still wears our permanent friendship ring apparently too (I don't).
I gave him the silent treatment the entire time especially when he would say something to me, which is what I've been doing the past 6 months anyway.
As my friend asked him how his life was and future plans, I found myself not caring at all about his life. Nothing moves me, not even the fact that the same friend secretly showed me him saying "I remember being that way with Suzan. I regret it."
I feel so happy. I got to be selfish for once and got what I promised myself.
Oh, and my friend and her ex (our mutual friend) are friends again - the same one I went back and forth to help make sure their friendship didn't turn out how my ex's did. So hooray!
Who's stuck in our past now? Who's feeling regret now? Not me.

since im not in the mood to create an angry dome thread, im just gonna mini rant here since its been summarizing my week so far.
The malay-muslim community has been annoying me sooOOOOooOOOooo much. they tweet pineappleing racist and discriminatory tweets all pineappleing day and gets hundreds of retweets and its okay. but when one chinese or indian or anyone else that isnt malay for that matter, tweets something to insult the malays, they go batpomegranate crazy.. trending the name of the person, lodging police reports and even photoshopping their faces.
And then theres the muslims(malays) posting Quranic verses on the promotional video for pinkdot.sg. And to make it worse, verses that mention massive genocide of the gays. THAT TOTALLY DOESNT MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A TERRORIST DUDE.
And the nerve for one of these pimentos to say "you want equal rights, drop the homosexuality". GO AWAY NOBODY WANTS YOUR HATE HERE.
