Goblin Rifts are actually a thing, but they're obscenely rare.

Finally got a Legendary Weapon from A5 Caches on my Crusader.

Might reroll the damage, but then again, the effect isn't that great.

if you have the skills on your bar, they take on the effects of the runes you're using.

Why would I have any of these terrible skills on my bar though? The only decent skill is Sentry.

If you were to combine that with the Marauder set AND the quiver that allows you to have 2 more sentries out, that's one hell of an insane combo... too much RNG involved for it to ever happen though.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Phoenix Wright - 2014-04-02

I have that thing. I think it's bugged. A lot of the time it'll drop one or even two sentries immediately when I move into a new map. :S

Haven't played for a couple of days, glad I didn't to be honest. Europe is STILL suffering from the DDoS attacks. I've been disconnected twice today already. I can't make any real progress in the campaign because i run the risk of being disconnected and losing all my progress in an area. (especially in Act V which has a lot of big areas to explore)

The Spike Trap/Caltrop/Sentry count from Helltrapper doesn't count towards your personal limit, so it can add more to the field than you normally would, but even with maxed out APS, you'd probably never have more than 4 extra Sentries if you were at a boss and shooting the whole time. It would be a decent item if I were to run places with high HP, since the extra Sentry damage could come in handy. Caltrops are useless since they spawn at your feet and elites don't give a pomegranate. Spike Traps do way too little damage too slowly to be worth the bar slot, especially for a Hand Crossbow, so if all three explosions hit, it equates to an average +14.4% Weapon Damage. You'd have to be partied with some good crowd control to keep a monster stationary for 6 seconds, and it would have to be pretty high torment for it to not die in the time it takes for Spike Traps to come out.

It seems to activate whichever skill it last procced for the next minute or so when you change maps.

Seems similar to the behavior of the Legendary WD weapon which summons fetishes when you attack, after you move maps you still keep the ones you've summoned. It's weirder since they aren't mobile pets like the WD ones though.

Yum.

I wonder if that 2ndary is also on the Templar and Enchantress ones. I've only seen the "Your follower cannot die" 2ndary.

Some people may already know about this, but it doesn't hurt to post it again since Blizz expanded on it a little bit.

Quote:There is another major feature in the patch 2.1, which is going to be what we're internally calling Tiered Rifts. The idea is a challenge scenario, where players do increasingly hard Rifts, to see who can get the farthest. The way it works is: You do your Bounties and get the tokens, then you do a Nephalem Rift. If you clear it, there's a chance to get a Greater Rift Token. If you successfully do that, you'll get a Greater Rift Key (Rank 2); if you clear that one, you get Rank 3, etc. Much like seasons, we're going to have a leaderboard as well, so you can see who got to the highest tier Rift, and what time were they able to obtain on that.

I'm just hoping they fix most of the complaints in the next patch. It's such a pomegranatefest reading any criticism on their boards though, I'm afraid of even trying to post something constructive. It all eventually comes down to "Crusaders are fine, you're not using a good (read: my) spec, lrn2pley feggit". Doubt the actual content patch would be ready any time before summer, if not later.

My crusader is at 800k DPS and 5m Toughness with 220k HP using Finery and has an additional +50% Fire Damage. If Blazing Sweep actually worked... Gave Burning Wrath a try and was surprised at how effective it was. It's more cost-effective than Blazing Sweep since its effect actually works, and it covers such a significant area. It's a shame there's no ranged fire generator to go along with it. Stuck using Roar or Carve. I'm not sure if Blazing Sweep can be competitive even if the DOT worked since it's given the indication that it doesn't stack, and has significantly less range. The damage:wrath ratio for Blessed Hammers and Sweep Attack shouldn't be the same when one is melee and the other is ranged that can hit the exact same area of effect as the melee, and then the rest of the screen. I really hope they fix a lot of these poor damage output skills.

Some fun facts:
For my 1.36 APS (I think)
Burning Wrath deals 336.6%/s = 33.66%/Wrath
Blazing Sweep would deal 714%/s = 35.7%/Wrath if it actually worked
Blazing Sweep actually deals 544%/s = 27.2%/Wrath
Combust deals 492.524%/s = 24.6262%/Wrath with my 19% Block
Combust deals 594.524%/s = 29.7262%/Wrath if I use skills to buff to 49% Block
While Combust is rather limited in its targets, Burning Wrath hits basically the same hitbox at pointblank as Blazing Sweep, and its effect can splash to close enemies. It appears it may also stack unlike Blazing Sweep, though I haven't thoroughly tested this.

Currently, I'm using a Skorn my Monk found and rerolled to STR. The bleed damage comes out at around 150k/s which is okay. Better than the 4k/s from Blazing Sweep at least. Hoping for a Golden Flense to continue my Blazing Sweep setup, or at least a Maximus. Otherwise, Fate of the Fell is probably BiS for a Crusader right now. I wonder if they'll end up nerfing Fires of Heaven because of it.

I probably need to cut down on critical chance and up on critical damage since I burst through elites with Resolved. I've been trying to scrub the IAS off my Stone of Jordan but 4 tries and I didn't get Critical Chance or Damage.

By far the biggest map I've seen in the rift. Holy balls.

Yeah i've seen those posts. It's pretty dumb IMHO because crusaders are definitely not up to par if compared to everything else.

That's Dahlgur Oasis (dat tile set, dem rng map pieces), which is also bullshit large, even when it isn't RNGed in a Rift. Split farming with a friend, he completed Act 3 while I only managed 2 bounties in Act 2 because I had to explore all of Desolate Sands and Dahlgur to find a cave to find its second floor to clear. And I was a Demon Hunter running full speed. Same pomegranate happens in Battlefields of Eternity. WHAT A FITTING NAME.

I got a map twice in a row that was the bridge at Rakkis' Crossing in Act III (may have spelt the name wrong), and then the ENTIRE Frozen field that's before it with a tower in the middle where you enter. It was absolutely ridiculously huge. It even has the Siegebreaker's spawn at the end (but there's no boss, just the section of the map where you fight him).

I explored the whole thing for the sake of it....and realized that the entire spawn both times was two mobs. The first time I got it it was all Imps and the exploding guys that blow up into Imps....so it was an Impfest. The second time I got it it was the Act V guys with the scythes...I forget their names, the ones that rush you.

Overall it was interesting, but those maps were way too massive for the limited spawn.

And then, as a complete reversal....this morning with my friend we got a rift that was one of those Tomb tilesets that you would find in the Oasis as a side quest...the entire thing was just a straight path that went up and to the right continuously. Over and over. It was the most boring map I've ever encountered. Actually took screenshots of this one simply because I was so baffled at it: http://imgur.com/a/MSyvN
