Dragon Nest JP - deldelight8 - 2010-05-27 nope, that alone showed why shikage is in and why we're out. his entire os is in japanese. you're not doing anything wrong kirby lol. well, i guess you are; you're still using home premium. probably most of us that are getting owned right now are win 7 home premium users. we cant use the japanese mui packs. you need ultimate, and you have to download the japanese MUI pack "free of charge" after getting ultimate. not really free if you have to buy ultimate first to use the stuff though. im pretty damned sure that win7 home premium does not work now. you need to go "get" ultimate or enterprise, to change your MUI into japanese, which will also change the IE8 mui to japanese. thanks for your help shikage, seeing how your entire os was in japanese as well pretty much made the problem obvious! either way i'm "getting" win 7 ultimate right now, and it'll be "gotten" in an hour or so, coming in through the delivery at 725 kbps. I'm going to do the same thing, but my only problem is, do I need to go out and buy a DVD to burn it onto? 'Cause I don't really have one... Also I needa figure out how to backup my files. nvm, figured it out.

Dragon Nest JP - Daku - 2010-05-27 If you really need to download a new OS for this i guess imma stick to playing the demo D: Dragon Nest JP - TKWizard - 2010-05-27 See, I told you that it was Windows 7 Ultimate I have Windows 7 Professional and it would cost me about $130 to upgrade to Ultimate.. Or risk finding a ISO for Ultimate but without a legal key >_> I rather buy a permanent mount and a pet on Mabinogi.. Dragon Nest JP - Anton - 2010-05-27 Phantasm Wrote:Incorrect. It's the same process as any operating system. Just find a Japanese win7 iso, burn it to be a bootable disc or mount it and install it on a separate hard drive. Next time you boot, you'll have a choice between 2 OSes. You can install a US OS on a prebuilt Japanese computer and vice versa. I've done that and it worked.
Dragon Nest JP - Daku - 2010-05-27 i think i have a Win 7 disk tho might try to find it. Dragon Nest JP - Link - 2010-05-27 The game opens back up in 20 minutes. Vista = Screwed and cannot play unless its Japanese. Dragon Nest JP - BlackDove - 2010-05-27 From what I've gathered reading the entire thread...your operating system needs to have the ability to download and install Multiple User Interface (MUI) Language Packs. This is possible with Vista Ultimate and W7 Ultimate. I don't know about any others. Shikage has W7 Ultimate with the Japenese Language Pack installed. He can play the game by changing all region/location options in the control panel to Japan. I haven't seen any reports of Vista Ultimate working even though I know you can download language packs for that OS as well (I used to have Vista Ultimate before I "upgraded" to W7 Professional). EDIT: Upon realizing that I never upgraded my W7 to Ultimate like I had originally planned, I'm making the change and installing the Japanese language pack now. I'll let you guys know if things change. I could have sworn I upgraded to Ultimate earlier <.< ...I already know I used those language packs for previous games. Guess I quit them all heh.
