How was your day? - Netto - 2013-06-03

Woooooooooooooooo....I have been in red-hot searing rage since Saturday. It doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon.

How was your day? - Катюша - 2013-06-03

"The Republican controlled House plans to vote next week to repeal the President's plan for the 37th time.

'Yes, for the 37th time. 37 of course is a prime number. Meaning it can only be divided by vicious partisanship.'"

I know she had health problems (congestive heart failure) but I didn't think today would be the day because I was playing with her fine this morning. My mother even took pictures of her this morning. She was so lively even at the age of 12.

I didn't even get to say goodbye to her when she was living. The last thing I did to her was shout in her ear to please not die. I only got to kiss her goodbye in that one room before you give the body to the clinic for cremation.

I miss my dog already. I'd do anything to see her living again. Bye Cutie, I love you a lot Sad

 Spoiler

I'd like to believe that she went peacefully.

Edit: I can't shake the feeling. Sad I haven't cried so hard in so long. Her presence in the house is everywhere: all her favorite foods in our fridge, her last serving of dog food, her squeaky toy she loved so much, her water bowl, her leash, her sweater, and the last tufts of fur she shed on our living room couch and all over my clothes.

She had so many cute tidbits and habits that I'm never gonna see again.

I feel dumb crying over a dog but I really loved that dog. My house feels pretty empty now.

Sorry to hear Sad *hugs*

Waited over an hour for Empress, only to get ac'd and cut in line. Didn't expect a certain guild to succumb to certain shenanigans. I guess making bills+ errday from bossing isn't enough.

I hate this server merge.

Omg hi StayTru, it's VXArtillery/AcidAutumn. I didn't even notice it was you.

And yeah, that happens to Kris and Tom constantly by a CERTAIN GUILD.

It's kinda disgusting. Kraosyellondia is kinda no fun. Bring back Yellonde.

Got up early to do graduation stuff, but that's not what this is about. I heard a meow coming from somewhere when I was walking home and found a cute little white kitten in the drain and spent half an hour waffling on what to do as dogs roam my street so taking it back only to not be able to keep it would be fairly disastrous.

I left in the end, but since my mother mentioned a cat lady that lives nearby I'm going to return and catch the kitty so it can stand a better chance of surviving. Sad

Making good progress on the Gaming PC. Except we've come to a in-pass where we're missing some tools to take some parts out and me and my friend are afraid to progress any further.
...Thinking back, we came into this project completely unprepared.

How was your day? - Sn1perJohnE - 2013-06-04

Small bit before my day: I've decided to upgrade from "girl situation" to "girl I'm trying to date" when speaking about such girl.

Day started early with a call from the girl I'm trying to date, asking if I could race and pick her and another of our friends up and bring them back to campus for work. Not a problem even on such short notice.

After that, I got my first task in my new position, But couldn't really do much with it because the files I'm supposed to copy to a bunch of flash drives was incorrect and I can't correct it myself.

After work, I taught the girl I want to date how to drive. Luckily, she only drove up a small curb and didn't damage anything.

I barely slept last night and still sad about my dog's death. I had the loneliest dinner.

My mother was telling us how right before my dog was dying, she was walking around the house to see everyone once. I'm the only one she didn't see because I had my door closed. Then she went into the master bedroom to lie down and is when she was beginning to die (where my mother found her).

I keep replaying how my dog looked and how she sounded as she was dying in front of all of us. I don't think I'll ever forget that.

I'm starting to find closure in it though; my mother told us of our family friend's dog who died very painfully (throwing up, drooling, losing control) and ours didn't die that way.

And, for the first time, I did not enjoy video editing. My Tyrant shoe video was recorded 3 hours before she died.
I was also in the middle of a guild picture as she was dying (there was a uniform rule). I kept the Red Bridesmaid uniform stashed in my storage. I know that sounds dumb but I think I can't stomach throwing it away.

She's really gone and I have to accept it. I hate posting all this depressing crap but I'm starting to accept it.
I'm relieved that we're keeping her belongings.

My day has been quite shitty.
Group: Yeah we'll finish the project the 29th don't worry about your exams later on.
Now: Still working on project because of them and i have an exam in 2 days as well.

If i fail that exam i'm going to cry because i've put far too much work into the project and i think i might not be prepared enough for the exam.
For pineapple sake.

;_;

I know exactly how you feel. My old golden retriever passed recently. I made quite a few extensive posts in this very thread about it actually. It's a hard thing to go through, and it's all very surreal. And this is your first pet too? God... that makes it all the worse.
That picture is adorable though, and I know your dog lived a wonderful life.

Mhmm, she's the first. I'm sorry to hear about yours as well Sad

Golden Retrievers are such a bundle of joy to have too. Funny how animals can harbor feelings of attachment :x

My tolerance for my situation ran out. I excommunicated her and gave her the Khainiwest execution.

Lost an election to be President of my organization. Apparently people want someone with more experience, but with way more things on his plate (he's a part of 4-5 different organizations on campus) than someone who has always been to events, been dedicated, and has a lot of passion for the things we do. He skips out on events because he doesn't want to do them, while I do them with enthusiasm. Wow.
Oh, yeah, I can see this logically, but I'm still pretty mad.

Lost an election to be the Sergeant of Arms too. Guess what? I was running unopposed. So, it just means people didn't want me to be it. Biggest. Lost. Ever.

People nominated someone on the spot and he ran against a friend and won. That's NOT proper protocol!

Yep. Still pretty mad at everyone. Will probably be like this for a month or so. Don't f'ucking care what anyone says, but I'm going to be more selfish from now on. Apparently having heart and being caring gets me nowhere in this place.

How was your day? - Eliul - 2013-06-04

Work is draining the pomegranate out of me.

Got a 2 hour lunch break, so decided to Cygnus v2. Took me about 20 mins (no resistance pots or any of that extra crap). Didn't get one single drop on x1.2 and spider familiar, and 20% drop pendant.

I'm confused...

How was your day? - FrozNlite - 2013-06-04

BACK! It's been a few insane days without a computer. Since Friday, I:

- Had an incredible last night out with friends in Madison
- Moved out from Madison for the last time
- Enjoyed a delectable last dinner in the Midwest with my family (albeit slight drama with them) at Meson Sabika, a phenomenal tapas restaurant in Naperville
- Went to downtown Naperville bars right after with friends from high school
- Moved to New York on Sunday, where I'm now living with relatives in Westchester for the month of June as I settle things
- Went into the city yesterday and cried tears of joy (internally, because I'm not crying in front of strangers on the subway)
- Had lunch with great friends I haven't seen in 9 months, then hung out in Brooklyn before picking up a wallet from Comme des Garcons in Manhattan
- FINALLY on my laptop again as my aunt was happy to provide an external monitor for me to connect it to before I get a new laptop next week

Needless to say, it's been quite an eventful time, and I couldn't be happier with everything at the moment. Words can't begin to describe how complete I feel now that I'm in EST, living in my favorite state in the country (you should've seen the grin on my face as I changed something as simple as my state of residence flag on my profile here to New York). My entire family was and mostly still is based in New England/Eastern Seaboard, and, combined with my personality, I really never felt a connection to the Midwest, the region of my birth and development, always knowing I'm an east coaster. As such, though apartments, jobs, and other logistics for life in NYC are not yet fully finalized, I do feel "complete" in finally being able to call this place home - and not a land of temporary indulgence.

I can't wait for all that's to come!

It's always a popularity contest. If you haven't gotten that pounded into your head already, well, now it is.

How was your day? - icephoenix21 - 2013-06-04

I am seemingly becoming less and less fond of children as the week goes by, along with the irresponsible parents that go with them.

Such a nice reminder as I'm leaving for Canada Tuesday to not get pregnant by any means Rolleyes
I'm selfish and like time to myself and peace and quiet, and not bound by such a restriction.
Moreover I'm really just bitching about my stepsister and her lack of child raising abilities and well as lack of responsibility to watch them at family events. She just kinda expects everyone else to and it's rather annoying. I know not every child is like hers, but jeez. What a whiny brat.
