Side note has this happened in other versions.

Not sure about Arad and CDnF, but KDnF certainly doesn't.
I'm not sure how to feel about this either, to be honest. It will, at the very least, drastically change the economy...

It's a good looking build, really. With that much SP leftover, you could max out library + a cube if you wanted. In regards to library for MP regen, only get it if MP is actually an issue for you.

Kevin Wrote:That is almost exactly my build before I maxed Water Chaser and palm Blast.

I do recommend getting Stabbing Wheel cancel though. At this point you can max out another chaser, another attacking skill (although I don't recommend Punto Wave), Phase Shift, Ancient Library, or Ancient Memory. Neither of which is going to make or break your build, so just choose what you like/use most.

Only get AL if you have MP problems though. I don't have it since I don't really use up my MP on my BM.

Thanks guys, main reason I asked was because of how much MP I burn so this makes me happy. I'm also now trying to decide between Shadow Chaser (this is Sera's fault, her and her videos :<) or Chaser Press...

So all I need is a +15, and I'll be like them, right Henry? Big Grin

Suddenly, I am overcome with a wave of jealousy.

And then I stopped, because I can barely finish up an FP bar anyway.

Seen that somewhere before. If anyone wants some HQ videos of this person, they're here on Zoome. That person used to have embedded Youtube videos on Zoome, but they've since been exchanged to HQ Zoome videos. I don't remember the dates so I'm not sure if this was before or after the nerfs that dumbed down Thieves' OP 70 stats.

Nevermind, it's around the same time frame as the earlier video Henry posted (where the person had a Musing Regalia instead of pots in the hotkeys), so it's pre-nerf. These videos were actually recorded earlier than their post date because they were re-uploaded in Zoome later, so it's reasonable to say it's pre-nerf.

Actually I take back my hasty generalizations. I could have sworn I saw SRO参式's Vilmark runs in April but since Arado Senki got 2nd Impact fairly recently, I'm not sure if the nerf has even been applied yet.

You should have seen those videos before, you posted his Zoome account when I asked you for Rogue videos.

You really don't need AL. Yes you burn mp, but the sp could be put into chasers or skills. You also shouldn't be spamming chaser launcher in dungeons(unless in outer). I wouldn't recommend maxing a cube skill besides Teana or Supersword because they scale pretty terribly. Palm blast is very good maxed, but you can keep it at 10 if you want. For spear users, it's a very fast, low cd, spammable skill that can do as much as full swing or more if charged. Kevi's right about stabbing wheel cancel, it's absolutely amazing.

Most PvE builds have upper at 5 because they don't like keeping things airborne for too long. You can decide what you want to do there. Not a big deal which one you pick. I would recommend maxing water chaser though. Having that iron defense in PvE is really good, especially when combined with Teana. Battle Groove is still really meh for me. I don't know what the stat boosts are at max since I never leved mine(but I'm pvp build so yeah). Not sure how good it really is. I think if you build up and lose a new combo during the period you have the buff, you get the stat bonuses according to your new combo? I'm not entirely sure how it works.

As much as Sera's chaser press videos make it seem amazing, it's not a solid build. It's very gimmick, and only good for burst damage. I would not recommend that build. At all. Level 1 is enough. Shadow chasers also aren't that great. Get neither. You can max water chaser in that build with points left over. You could also choose to max palm blast and get a decent amount of water. Or max both, but lose battle groove.

I don't, actually. Not often, anyway. I also don't see what else I can put that SP into when I already have enough to max one more chaser.

What's Supersword? I've never heard of that skill. Unless you meant Gold Dragon Spear, which I already have maxed with Teana in my current build.

Water Chaser slows enemies down, I guess after thinking about it more, that's a lot more useful than I thought. I primarily chose Fire and Light for the buffs too. I also don't know how Battle Groove works but...

Updated.

Supersword is what some people use for Gold Dragon Spear.

The points can always go somewhere better. I already stated max palm blast is very good for pve. Some people also choose to max full swing. The spear's range makes it more worth maxing than on a pole user. The build looks fine though. I should probably see how battlegroove works as well.

MY BUILD IS GREAT AND LACKS ANY FLAWS WHATSOEVER, GOOD SIR.

All joking aside, that's pretty much right. Press is fine at 1, if not just so you can use it. My build is purely centered around chaser press. Every other skill I have is for either utility (Meteor dash), building big chasers quickly (Punto wave, maxed generator), or making press itself stronger (Ancient Library, Ancient Memory). Shadow chasers also fall into that final category. I strongly advise against getting them unless it's for a specific gimmick build like mine - they're a pain to mass produce and can mess up combos pretty badly. Keep in mind, I only made Scuffle 'cause Scrimmage already has a more standard battle mage build, and I wanted to try something different.

As for water chasers, I dabbled around with 'em and can't say that I'm a fan, but you can actually afford to max 'em, so I can't really go against that recommendation. Defense is never bad.

The defense boost at max is apparently amazing. Very useful with Teana as well. I actually though chaser press was horrid damage when I first tested it in pvp and it did like 3k. I went into a dungeon and it did like 15k lol.

2.3k defense boost or something like that? I never even considered Teana with that boost actually... Dang.
