Lozmaster Wrote:God, I hope not, Link is a bad enough character in brawl as it is, without getting nerfed some more.

Yeah i know right lol. His grounded up-b was one of his saving graces in every game he's been in, other than nair. Significantly less safe without the range. :x

I'm sure there is lots of fanart of Link being taken from behind by Fox like that.

I did not need that mental picture.

Sad part is that it doesn't stray far from reality.

HOW CAN THE MALE TRAINER MOVE WITH SUCH GRACE LIKE THE FEMALE TRAINER DOES.

IT'S A TRAP.

Sakurai Wrote:Pic of the day. Kid Icarus: Uprising is now available to download via eShop in Japan. By the way, we gave a makeover to Pit's pose when he's shooting his bow and arrow so it looks sharper. Do note that all images are still in development. This and past pics may be different from the finished product. Thanks for understanding.

The way the arrow is being held looks off but I'm no archer so I can't really say for sure. Also, magic.

Firstly, excuse me for not being well versed in the SSB world, but what is up with all these pics of the day? Most of them seem to reveal nothing new, or at least nothing relevant, and the graphics/designs are hardly worth flaunting either. So, what gives? Are the fanboys just enjoying poses of their favourites?

They show subtle changes, from what I've noticed. If you notice Takebacker tends to make observations based on them in his posts.

So...olimars final smash is an item now?

the size of that thing makes me think it's a dodge-or-die thing like bob-ombs

ShinkuDragon Wrote:the size of that thing makes me think it's a dodge-or-die thing like bob-ombs

Exactly. The final smash was among the easiest to dodge so i think it would work well as a pick up bomb kind of like kirby's star except it's auto homing or something.

More importantly...olimar gets a new final smash!

Closest that resembles is the Mediterranean draw, but not close enough for it to be an actual way of drawing a bow.

But hey, it's magic. *shrug*

Todays post:

Quote:Pic of the day. Link's downward strike was designed to change to a Meteor Smash when the tip of the sword is aligned just right at the start. However, it will be removed if it's deemed too powerful overall after some multiplayer play tests.

Yes, he just fucking implied he's worried about link being overpowered.

Jesus christ, let someone else balance this game, please.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Dark Link - 2013-11-06

I figured that would be the reason why Bamco was put as lead development; to actually have some form of balance in the series.
At least, that's what everyone over at Shoryuken was hoping to see.
