Where do you get epic accessories? Apparently you can get some from achievements?

Original Dragon Nest Thread - CommanderJinn - 2011-08-04

They also drop from minibosses on abyss.

I signed up a day after the opening of OBT. But Nexon is Nexon.

You can get a Reckless Ring and the "Rebel Without a Cause" title from clearing every Lv15 Abyss dungeon alone.

EDIT: I found a file to remove the chat filter. No more bothersome "***le".

I have tested it and it does work.

Level 5 cleric now. Game seems pretty fun! When does the difficulty start, level 10? Abyss level? Etc?

Abyss. Things get hectic.

Hit level 10 today, and it seems like a good stopping point. What level do you begin selling stuff to make money? I don't think selling level 10 items reaps a big reward.

16 stuff usually sells anywhere between 1-10g. The level 23 stuff sells for a bit more, and the lv 24 stuff a little bit more than that. You'd probably make your profits from selling crafting items from the higher level dungeons, as well as from Sparks. You don't really need a lot of money for good equips at this point though, as we're nowhere near endgame. Just enjoy the gameplay and don't fret about the money.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Secun - 2011-08-04

Taking advantage of the (lack of) economy for my own purposes. Get those crafting items while you can, folks, cause they'll skyrocket once Minotauros Nest releases.

Yeah, you'll have a hard time selling level 10 stuff unless they've been enhanced to something like 9+ and have good potential. Speaking of potential, you'll soon start running into items called Crystal Sparks that give your items extra stats. You'll be swimming in them by the time you reach level 15, I would think. The Diamond Sparks, which are used for accessories, are the hardest to find. Reset Sparks are even harder to find.

Oh, and save/sell your Octagonal waters. Don't use them to make Crude Onyx, because Crude Onyx can be easily found in Level 16+ dungeons. Selling stacks of 20 Crude Onyx at a time tends to net me about 30+ gold in Velskud. You can probably save them to enhance Level 24 gear later on along with crafting higher level enhancement plates.

(As far as I know, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, and Obsidian fragments don't seem to have a purpose right now. However, I'd imagine that you'd need them once more areas are released.)

Crude Topaz/Obsidian/etc are used to enhance Epic-rarity equipment like the Minotaur set. Also for making Epic-rarity Skill Plates.

The Minotaur set is rare o_O

No it isn't? o-o
The Minotaur set is the Elf Queen's Corps set in the Crafting menu at the Blacksmith. Those are Epic-rarity.

Oh, I thought you meant the Red Army Minotaur Set.

Ice or Fire?

In general:
Max Blink and Power Blink
12 Toxic Spray
Get prereqs for the ultimate (Volcanic Vortex or Blizzard), get some skills from the other tree for utility (Ele cooldowns are high), and max out the skills you like. Keep in mind that Inferno's range goes up at level 7.

Well id like fire better so that =P

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Secun - 2011-08-04

Fire Elementalists are DPS, Ice Elementalists are a bit more defensive/support based.

Thanks for all that information! This post will help me a lot in the future.
