Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - mrcowcow - 2011-05-15 Alex I just realized why that UI might not work for you. Given the Tabbing option in DFO, I assume that each one brings up a unique User Interface. Given this case and the fact that the images in the NPK userface are, after all, just images, clicking in a certain area of the specific UI that is the default (the one with HP, MP, exp, etc) will bring up a a certain menu, etc. Given that, I'd have to say that even if you had that UI, it'd just be an image and nothing more. Since the icons to bring up each menu in the UI has a different coordinate than those from the old UI, you'd have to adjust the values of those too. I mean to be honest, it's more of a hassle than it's worth. :| Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Capricorn - 2011-05-15 yeah I know, just wanted the bars though, which is less hassle than the entirety Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - IllegallySane - 2011-05-16 Oh hey, a spreadsheet of all Exo attacks and how strong they are at X level from DFOSource: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Aufe-qx2JraldGN6Qjl4WkNxSDZUQXNYcm5GRElMT3c&hl=en#gid=0 Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - XxSilencer - 2011-05-16 !
Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - IllegallySane - 2011-05-17 OKay, Witch help. Looked through the stuff Witches have, and came up with a primarily AoE Light/Fire build with max Acid Rain and Shururu. How does it look? Is Acid Rain worth getting, or not? http://oldmanclub.co.cc/asps/act5/witch.html?MWf0308wlljFlFllinMrlllllllllillllililililIlRil1ll111DlIDiTDilQQILlFiil Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Kevin - 2011-05-17 IllegallySane Wrote:OKay, Witch help. You planning to use the 1 swatter as an extra attack to tack on the aerial combo? You planning to use the 1 swatter as an extra attack to tack on the aerial combo? Well given DFOWiki isn't telling how Swatter works with Summon levels, I'm currently assuming the level of the summons scale with you. In that case, a chance at some free level appropriate meatshields for the cost of 30 SP sounds nice. Also, the 1 Drill was because I was following this AoE build I found on DFOSource but modified it a bit. I can remove Ice Drill if it's of no use at higher levels. Drill at 1 does have pretty good utility though, for the vacuum effect/hold and the damage absorption. I didn't get it on mine because I don't really like drill, but it's definitely not a bad idea - especially since you have maxed jack frost friend. Nevermind the Swatter then. http://oldmanclub.co.cc/asps/act5/witch.html?MWf0308wlljFlFllinMrlllllllllillllililililIlRil1ll111DlIDi!DllQQILlFiil Taking that 1 level of Swatter and placing it back into EMM. Now i just need Felix's input on the matter. @Also, with Jackyl am I unable to taunt regular monsters, or is Jackyl something I can turn off? Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Kevin - 2011-05-17 I don't think you can turn off Jackyl (never thought about checking if you could though, so it's possible I'm wrong). It'll always taunt regular monsters. It won't taunt champions or bosses unless it's leveled enough. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - IllegallySane - 2011-05-17 Kevin Wrote:I don't think you can turn off Jackyl (never thought about checking if you could though, so it's possible I'm wrong). I misread the description that it loses it's ability to taunt regular monsters once it's become Jackyl. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - MariettaRC - 2011-05-17 Now that you guys mention it, do I need Manteau at all? I mean, I never use it, ever. That and I would love to put more points into EMM... thinking about getting less in Drill, but I don't know how important it is as a support AoE witch. Same question goes for Lucky Feeling. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Capricorn - 2011-05-17 lrn2mantoe Just because you don't use it doesn't mean it's bad to have anyways, it has many many uses once you learn them. So learn them. Far too much convenient utility though to be situational like guard for slayers <_< Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Jormungandr - 2011-05-17 IllegallySane Wrote:Oh ew. Nevermind the Swatter then. Pretty sure you can't turn off Jackyl, unless right clicking the skill works. The build looks fine. Pretty much standard aoe build. I would suggest lucky feeling since it's a mini lollipop buff, but you seem sp tight as it is. MariaColette Wrote:Now that you guys mention it, do I need Manteau at all? I mean, I never use it, ever. That and I would love to put more points into EMM... thinking about getting less in Drill, but I don't know how important it is as a support AoE witch. Same question goes for Lucky Feeling. You NEED manteau. The sp cost is well worth the invincibility and the grab. I can tell you now Drill and Lucky feeling is great. Drill allows me to cycle through my aoes without ever having to stop(unless it fails), so I go from aoe to aoe to aoe and repeat. Basically you're getting 1 level for the utility of it. Lucky feeling is really nice as well. It's a mini lollipop buff that comes on pretty consistantly. At max it's like a 6% boost in success and sleeper success or something. Well worth it for a tier 3 aoe witch especially since if lava or drill fails you're pretty screwed for a bit there. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - IllegallySane - 2011-05-18 AH TOLD YOU I'D ADVANCE TO WITCH TODAY, AND TECHNICALLY I DID. SERVER CHECK TOOK FOREVER. ![]() Leveled to 20 to get EMM, and it's now 5 AM. SLEEP TIME. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - MariettaRC - 2011-05-18 Decided to make a M.Ranger (purely for OC inspirational purposes) and I stole Moo's Ranger build (because I hate asking for a build every time I make a new character) but according to DualReaver, Air Raid should be maxed? Moo's build has it at 1. Which is preferred? Talking about this, by the way. Also, moar noob question: What's meant by a burn event? My major guess is EXP. o.o And... how do I know what stats a class uses more? Like, some are just common sense, I think (Witch using Intelligence vs Battle Mage using Strength) but I don't know about other classes. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Kevin - 2011-05-18 You look at the skills and see whether they're physical or magic, it usually says in the description. Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - ThatHurts - 2011-05-18 MariaColette Wrote:Also, moar noob question: What's meant by a burn event? Easy enough. But what about Spirit and Vitality? Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Jormungandr - 2011-05-18 MariaColette Wrote:Easy enough. But what about Spirit and Vitality? Not really useful. You can hover your cursor over the stat to see the description. They're both there for taking less physical and magical damage. |
