I can't imagine it's actually a maintenance, given there was no forewarning to the downtime at all, and everything was/is down. Whether or not it's a DDoS is completely up in the air, though.

I've also heard that there were people hacking into the cloud and getting celebrities private pictures.

OT:In my area AT&T is the worst. I pay for the highest speed and it takes me a day and a half to download 15gbs of a game. Ridiculous.
