The brigade going on in KiA? Another article? Another appearance in a new's show? Does it even matter what they threaten to do at this point?
It bothers me that they're trying to get as much as they can before the whole things blows up and they can no longer profit from this, be it money and/or attention. But seriously, giving them attention for irrelevant nonsense like this feels counterproductive as it's just giving them the attention they want. I'm all for discussing whatever "argument" they show up with but this seems rather... pointless. I just hate announcements of announcements that announce nothing.

Late to the party here, but is there no middle ground to stand on?
On one hand I find GamerGate awkward as hell, but on the other hand we have people like Anita Sarkeesian that spew there own vile brand of crap.
I think I'll do what most of those that call themselves gamers do about this, just stroll on down the street, whistling.

The elements on both sides that go militant.
Either those that turn the gaming world into a political battle field and expect the world to do the same or so help them god, or the death threats, tracking journalists down, writing stuff with poo on their doors and so on.

Still not following you, there is no middle ground for #gamergate because a standard is needed, and instead of discussing about the standards, the entire movement is slandered by the companies in question. The real problem is, they stole all rights of conversation when they posted 20 articles saying their reader base is dead to them because they asked questions. At this point the only way they hit middle ground is if they apply common sense and apply the most common of ethical standards.
