But, anyway, I think the bonus part is really bad-done.

They should've done something like you enter the map where Jack is (and there shouldn't be any timer on it!!) and he says all those things.. then, once the leader of the squad (or the leader of a party) everyone gets teleported to the boss stage, so that everyone gets the same timer as the others. I think it's not fair that those who read the text that Jack says can't do the bonus because of the limited timer. Also, why the pineapple is there a timer in the room before bonus? If you don't make screenshots it'd be IMPOSSIBLE to read all that text in a few seconds.

Seriously, what the Pineapple were they thinking when they did it? Pineapples, maybe? Pineapple Tongue

The timer gets reset once you enter the doors :3

CommanderJinn Wrote:Well the way I see it is that Steel-fist Jack landed on the shores of Masteria (through a accident like his crew's boat sunk or he was knocked overboard) and made his way to CWK. He was the only pirate at CWK and thus had no real guilds under him, but he was powerful enough to get a spot as a Grandmaster and to leave a mark in the history of Cwk but not enough for the versalians to copy.
Jack is just there for a while, he doesn't really qualify as a grandmaster (Everywhere it talks about grandmasters, there are always 4.) but I think they remember him because of the novelty. He's the only person who fights like this, they find it really interesting, and then when he leaves, they start incorporating parts of it into their own disciplines (Which is why we see guns and Knuckle-claws about).

Doesn't really matter if the whole rest of your party cleaned out the room.

Not only that, but it doesn't still explain WHY there's a timer in Jack's room. Odd stuff.

Oh, I didn't know because soloed bonus the only time I went into it (group thought the twice a day glitch was still on).

Also, I remember seeing a notice about scarlet phoenix during the summoning events... is that the red knight that spawns when red nirg dies, indigo phoenix, or something else? O_o

Good thread! Only problem that i find is that the PQ makes it very very hard to get the story behind it all :/

Scarlet Phoenix and Azure Ocelot are the two ninja guys who spawn when Red Nirg dies.

Because of the leechers/anoyying fags, which makes the PQ stuck, until everyone are out..
They're just making sure that it wouldn't be happening. Wink

Came across this dialog again, don't think it was mentioned in this thread.

Looks like more mobs on fire are a possibility (the rest of this chat is interesting too wrt. Krakia - it's the leadup for the Headless Horseman quest).

Yeah, I reread this the other day as well and came to the same conclusion. Considering how many of the alluded to monsters came out with Crimsonwood (Elder Wraith, Typhons, etc.) it's likely these will turn out real as well.

fire-leaf mobs? awesome =D

though, she also say "but that wasn't enough for the Alchemist".. so.. it might be the lower lvl mobs.

That part is referring to having the headless horseman lead them, so I guess if you consider monsters lower than the Headless Horseman "low level" then that would be true.

I think they're changing some of the strings as expansions come out. Someone want to check up on the BF quest that says "strong enough to kill 50 shadowers, 160 heroes, etc etc"? I did that quest a week ago and i swear it was changed from what it was when i first read it. xD

Do you think we'll get a new place to rest, pot, buy stuff...like a town! Do you think we'll get any towns in Masteria, besides New Leaf? It seems as if everything in Masteria is evil...

I'm pretty sure we will.

I imagine Krakia being a place to rest.. but who knows, maybe I'm wrong. Well, thinking about it, it doesn't make many sense for Krakia to be a resting place.

Technically, the Courtyard in Crimsonwood Keep is a town.

 My speculation on towns

I also think it'll be a regular style town, but maybe not until after some quests are done or something. You know, save the Krakians, then you can use their town.

Kind of like the quests you had to do in order to talk with the raven ninja clan? I think it sounds a lot more realistic doing it this way. You would build up trust with the krakian residents and each quest could add another service they provide.

Masteria could really use some more towns.

Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - y0y0y0y0shi0 - 2009-03-16

Well, just a theory, but seeing as everyone keeps thinking that Masteria has something to do with the Black Magician, I wanted to put it out there.

Seeing as only TMS, GMS, and EMS have Masteria, how would they be able to fit in the WHOLE storyline of the Black Magician in other versions, if parts of the history were revealed in Masteria? All versions have stories about the Black Magician, and if one version had the whole story, and another only a fragment, doomed to never get the whole story, how would the whole story be told? That's like giving someone half of a book, only to be doomed to watch as other kids get to read the whole book.

Hey Isaac, this may well lead up to Krakia:

Those images are already in data, and could possibly point to the location or direction of Krakia.

Are they unreleased?

If yes, how comes nobody posted them until now? :f6:

Oh well, I must say, it really looks like Krakia. Many trees around there.. and Krakia's population is formed by plants if I'm not wrong.. :f6:
