Lord forbid something in the game isn't spoon fed and you actually have to put some effort into receiving something rare. There is a major difference between being spoon fed and having to spend 10 hours a day everyday just to get the good stuff. [0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - Random_Overlord - 2010-08-11 The REAL problem with this patch is the common high leveled mobs that are 120+. Most of them like the visitors in the level 120+ range have 2mil+ hp, low exp rates, and their damage hits 10k+. Now imagin a map full of these overpowered alien bastards. The ultimate visitor alone has 17XX w.att and m.att which hits in the 20k range. I don't think anyone's even going to bother getting through the last part of it if the mobs are this powerfull. Equipments that kick the s'hit out of literally everything else in the entire game make it worth it. Tespia is not going to go through multiple revisions and rebalancing before it goes to the live server. It goes live, next week, as is. No room for drastic changes. You're only going to be let down if you keep thinking like that. :/ [0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - modular - 2010-08-11 Twilight Wrote:I hope it is like this. If the lunchbox event was really spoon fed there'd be alot more than just a handful of 1H Heros/Paladins walking around with LBs. Considering it it was only those two classes who even cared, and the % of them that met grisly ends to dark scrolls because not everyone could afford the glitched 100%s for them your logic is flawed by failing to account for time. Just because there are few survivors of an event that happened 100 years ago doesn't mean barely anyone survived the event in question. [0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - Kevin645 - 2010-08-11 The event was great but they should make choice of what kind of weapon you get instead of just swords. My LB is stuck on my Hermit and never be able to transfer it over

You may see my logic as flawed, but it still doesn't change the fact that the LB event wasn't spoon fed. People raging over missing 1 day of the event can attest to that. People raging over missing 1 day of the event can attest to that. Did it take effort? No. Did it take circumstancial cooperation? Yes. That is pretty much the definition of spoonfed - Not requiring effort. Requiring you to be in the right place at the right time is not even comparable. GodCanJudge Wrote:just because it takes longer to read and understand his posts when compared to everybody elses, doesn't mean he is illiterate The fact his posts whine and rant about things that anyone who bothered to read the thread would know are mistaken assumptions however does. Last I looked forums, particularly this one, were all about the reading/writing concept. Can't fathom why someone who fails at both would insist on sharing their developmental challenges with the rest of the world. No effort, in my mind, would be logging on once and recieving the lunchbox for doing nothing. Then you have extremely low standards for "effort". [0.01T] The Ultimate Visitor - FrozNlite - 2010-08-11 Why the pineapple did I bother reading all 27 pages of this thread? In other words, how the hell did this thread hit 27 pages? Apparently he can type perfectly fine but chooses not too since he's lazy. (Don't ask me why I actually bother reading his posts to find out that bit of info.) |
