A bit freaked out. The pair of sweats that fit me perfectly are now too big for my waist. Weighed myself in at 85 lbs.

Wake up at 5am and hear snow plows.
SNOW PLOWS.
Wake up at 7 and look outside the window to see a good 3+ inches of snow on the ground and it still falling.
Also, the bus for school isn't running because they can't keep the roads cleaned up.
I was supposed to finish a wood project today but eh...I guess I'll be spending time in the process lab after my class tomorrow.
I'm not walking in that.

And it makes me feel guilty. Finally 18. As soon as I finish college my parents won't get any money for raising me. We're already struggling for money after all the government cuts to benefits, and neither of my parents are fit for work. I also heard that if I fail in my exams then my parents will be forced to pay £11,000 to the government. There's no way we can afford that. I begged my parents to take back the money they got me as a gift because they needed it more than I did but they refused. I hope I don't fail. I hope I can find a job to help support my family. I can't go into university for an entire year because I missed the cut-off, so if I can't find a job then I'll be literally worthless for an entire year.

I am indeed voting for the opposition, but reports on either end do not look promising as there's actual video captures of the opposition leaders bad-mouthing each other. It's a prickly situation to be honest, I dislike BN but also very much doubt the character and solidarity of the opposition parties as their ideologies differ wildly and they do not have the same mutual ground that BN once had when UMNO, MCA and MIC joined forces to win the elections by a landslide.

Campus is still closed, and will remain closed til tomorrow. So far there have been no reports of damage, except that some roofs had caught fire. There was a hazmat fire on a farm that was next to the campus, where there was chemicals, pesticides and diesel fuel were held. Hoping to get back on campus tomorrow night, so that I can make sure all of the apartments I see over are locked up.

Worked a private concert tonight featuring Susan Egan, the Broadway star probably most known here for her voiceover roles as Meg in Hercules and Lin in the English dub of Spirited Away. I had the pleasure of talking with her for a good ten minutes after her performance about her love for Studio Ghibli and experiences with the films, and GAH she was just so sweet and happy to chat with a fan, even though I was delaying her leaving. Such a great night.

Stopped my no Flying Gift Tornadus hunt for Gates to Infinity because I realized that it was beginning to get boring and futile.
I developed a sore throat today, not sure on the cause. It prevented me from having a phone conversation with the person who I assigned to make me custom clothes.
Also learned that my Japanese teacher can't write her last name in kanji, so I'm researching for possible characters.
Drew a Darkrai and Cresselia in class and working on a Shinx drawing while eating udon.
