Morello's reworking Vlad. He is definitely not going to be balanced after this patch. Either massively OP or massively UP.
Yeah, I have that much faith in Morello. Purp and I have a running joke at school. Whenever a bad champion skill comes up on a preview, we both say "morello"

Both good choices. Irelia is a great tanky/melee DPS and Maokai is a good tanky DPS sort of thingy, too. (Trinity Force Maokai is great, apparently).

I honestly don't really disagree with most of the balance team's choices, minus the tendency they have to overnerf things. =\

Guinsoo outright wanted to delete Vladimir. He and Shurelia are the famous, known designers that actively work on remakes. I'm not surprised that Morello is taking on this job, since he's the best person there is for game design philosophy, and Vladimir is absolutely rife with problems.

They'd rather have underpowered champs than a few champs that are OP. This basically means they err on the lower side.

This is true. As Morello put it once, one underpowered champion ruins the game for 1/80 people, and one overpowered champion ruins the game for everyone.

I'm having LOTS of fun with Orianna, she's a great champion, only thing I don't like is how low her base stats are, specially HP... Banshee's and Rylai's help that but she's still squishy.

Regardless, if this goes live, a lot of champions are gonna hurt real badly.
Amumu / Nunu are gonna hurt in Jungling
All "supports" are gonna hurt.
Irelia / Renekton / Jarvman are gonna hurt in "Tanky DPS"
Nunu is going to be hurt a lot buy this? I only end up getting 1 philo and 1 HoG or 2 of one of them. Not much. 2 Philos will still be good for the regen though.

Anyway, been playing on my brothers computer while he's at school so I haven't gotten on sp lately. Just ordered a new computer though so I'll be able to play a lot more soon. Been doing great with trundle lately.

It was all about the GP/10 for Nunu / Amumu, the Regen has always been a plus for them, but they mainly went for the Philo stones due to the GP/10. While the regen will still be viable for them, the lack of multiple GP/10 procs is gonna set them back quite a bit.

People have been mainly focusing on Philo Stones for tanky DPS characters for the GP/10 and the sustained laning dominance due to the regen made them a bit too strong. Losing the multiple GP/10 is only gonna set them back in farm, which is what made Tanky DPS characters uber awesome.
Pretty much the entire thing is just gonna make it so there's less "farmed" junglers, tanky DPS, and supports

It's not going to be much. We'll probably lose out on probably 500g per game. I'm aware some tanky dps get them, but I've never found them useful enough on ren. One hog for randuins later will suffice. 2 if I really need hp, but I get 2 dorans anyway. I'll still love playing nunu n_n I got nunu bot, after all.
