No such thing as dexless. If you have dex equips, you aren't dexless. It's stupid and inefficient to go all dex equips anyway.
Low dex vs normal dex - I'd argue that they're fundamentally the same. Why? You end up with the same dex after equips either way. Only one thing should ever determine how much dex on equips you need: most power at least cost.
What type of equips you get all depends on your funding, and can be determined based on two simple steps:
1. Maximize the amount of str+dex bonus you can attain on equips, based on your budget.
2. Only add dex if you need it to equip your knuckle.
That should be used to decide everything, not some fictitious definition of 'low dex'.
Unfortunately pirate EQs carry dex=str=level requirements, so the only way to go low-dex is to wear lower level equips.
To equip a level 80 knuckle, you can have 70 base dex with a lvl 70 overall scrolled for dex.
But if you have 60 base dex, you can only equip the level 60 overall, which would need +20 dex then.
Then, it gets all complicated with maybe wearing the lvl 60 hat, to give you +3 dex to equip your other equips.
Its surely not as simple as bowmen low-str, I can assure you that.

Sorta like how my friend (A Hermit) has it. If she takes off her earrings, her overall comes off automatically due to lack of dex. If her overall comes off, she loses her shoes. If her shoes come off, she can't wear her hat.
It's hard, but you can go LowDex/LowStr like this.

My question: What did you guys cap your dex at?
I'm a new brawler and I don't know where to cap. I was hoping not to spend too much money and I was beginning to think maybe I just want to go normal or minimally low-dex.

Find your end game weapon that you want to use and account for all your dex equips first (including zhelm, w/e).
base dex = needed for end game weapon - dex equips.
if you can't afford it, just go normal dex with as low as you can go. I did that with my bowmaster 0_o

Tentative plan
- 4 combined slots of blaze/glaze capsules [2/2 split or 3/1 split]
- 16 slots of bullets
- 2 slots for hp pots
- 2 slots for mp pots
- 1 slot for attack pots
- 3 empty slots
Might want to lower amount of bullet slots, maybe to 12 or less to get more space or more space from blaze/glaze capsules.

Okay... say you're using 10 MP per bullet, as a generous estimate. That means for every slot of bullets you'll need approximately 20 sorc elixirs. So 2 MP slots looks about right. As for HP, it depends what you're fighting. Something like Newties, you won't need much. Something like, I dunno, Himes, you'll need a ton. Just in case, I'd forsake 2-3 more bullet slots to hold HP if needed.

I'm not cpqing at the moment, so i'm solo training. I have 1812 HP, and 999 mp (lol)
What are the best pots to use for me right now? currently i'm using my exchangee quest pots and will soon go to my ginseng concentrates from PPQ. But after that should i go with pizzas or use some of Singapore's 1:1 hp:mp ratio pots? (Training in singapore =3)

From what I've heard Burner is not adviseable...
BUT!
If you using one them wouldn't you probably not be using the other? (storage ftw?)

Probably, but why would you want it? Battleship -> cannon -> battleship would be horrible at bosses because you could end up mounting it at the wrong time. O_o

The third job build is finite. Burner is meant to be maxed.

burner is not -meant- to be maxed, nor is any build finite. regardless of yours and kazoo's arguments toward burner, I still think that mine far outweigh them and that burner should be left at 11.

Yes, no build is finite. Even i never meant to follow our own builds point for point. They are the most beneficial builds out there that i can find though.
