holy fucking goddamn pomegranate, that was the longest, most absurd forced drama sequence I've ever seen. It was so over the top terrible it was almost comical.

Medaka Box 12: As great as this episode was, it spoiled the entire minus arc in my opinion. If I were someone who hadn't read the manga, and saw this episode, and then went to read the manga, I would feel disappointed as you're originally left to think Kumagawa is some terribly horrible abomination of a human being, but in reality he's some amazing antihero we all deserve. I think that's one of the major defining points of the Minus and Not Equals arcs; the concept of Kumagawa not being completely evil, and why they would need to defeat Anshinin-san at all. Also Sukinasaki & Anshinin hnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggg. I want some more Sukinasaki stories now. I guess this whole show is a giant circlejerk for the readers of the manga. I'm not surprised the BD sales are low, since the animation style, to be quite honest, is terrible, and BluRay wouldn't improve it, or make it look better.
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia 13: This episode was hawt. Amazing cuts with the OP for Kirie's excorcism scenes. They were perfectly done. Dat bath scene. Dat duckie. Also, the ending Fireworks part was spectacular with Okonogi firing them at Kirie in the background.
Saki Episode of Side A 13: I was disappointed there was no OP. Fantastic episode as always, but I was hoping for some more hinting at nopan.

Was wondering; for anyone who's both read the Light Novels and watched the anime for Sword Art Online; How's the Anime in comparison?
I've been reading the Light Novels at work when I have nothing to do, and I've heard the Anime is pretty good, however I don't really want to watch it if it's going to be one of the instances of "The book was better, yo."
My only gripe with the Anime so far is that it caused the light novel translators to change their names to the Anime names...and it was really damn confusing to adjust to that in like the 7th or 8th book.

I can understand that, but considering I've read the books...I don't need that established twice unless the story has changed significantly. From what I understand it hasn't, so it's definitely not a deterrent from wanting to watch the Anime.

It wasn't changed much in the anime, no. The books are better overall, but the anime is still a very good adaptation.

SAO: I liked the adaptation. It's nice to see the story animated. Watching Sugou torture Asuna was painful though. I think reading the novels enhances the enjoyment of the anime because there are abrupt actions in the anime that are explained much better in the novels.
Nekomonogatari 1-2: Fantastic. No dull moments at all, but my favorite scene has to be the "I'll do anything" scene. Can't wait for second half and Kizumonogatari.
From the new world 1-3: Saki is incredibly annoying. Every time she opens her mouth... The story hasn't drawn me in yet, but hopefully the library is the start of something.
4-7 These episodes go by fast. Doesn't seem like much happened. It does make more sense now though.
Neko 2nd half: Got a bit too preachy. I could not follow Araragi's argument. Maybe it'd make more sense if I see what Hanekawa did in Kizumonogatari? Liked the explanation on Shinobu's hat.

Nekomonogatari Kuro: I quite enjoyed everything about this. Delicious Hanekawa. Imootoos. Nyanko. SHINOBU HNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Interesting how it all turned out. Looking forward to Shiro whenever they stop rolling in their BD profits.
Kokoro Connect 14~17: I enjoyed these significantly more than the original episodes. The first arc with body switching was pretty good, the others not as much. Michi Random was quite well done though, and held my interest, yet at the same time the it bugged me how much they were pressing for the audience to sympathise with Iori so much, and know exactly why she's acting that way. I think it would have been a bit better to leave that part as more of a mystery towards the last episode, not have it so outright in the first two. I feel a bit conflicted over Iori "losing" though, given all the pomegranate she's gone through, but whatever. INABAHNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Some backlog:
Shakugan no Shana Final: I did not like this very much. What's worse, the thing I was most looking forward to was OP2, and they removed one of the channels or something. Sounded terrible compared to the single version.
Hayate no Gotoku! Can't Take My Eyes off You: Was skeptical over whether or not it could live up to season 1 and 2, but the overall story and gags pulled through in the end. I've always wanted to see some more combat and supernatural stuff in Hayate, but the manga is usually just one-off gags since the Athena arc ended.
Maoyuu 01: Character designs are bad. FROM THE CHARACTER DESIGNER OF BLEACH WE BRING YOU MORE GENERIC LOOKING pomegranate. Light Novel artwork gave it a lot of strong promise. I've heard good things about this. First episode was okay. Maou seems a bit ditzy, contrasted with what I've heard of the other adaptations. Yuusha seems a bit spineless as well. Cast is seemingly fantastic though. Might pick up the manga.
