For the record, that's not what he said. Niernen said that type doctors would be impractical with our small numbers, not that no moves were effected by type.

Fair enough, although you did not show as much interest in any other Townies that were lynched/killed during the night. It just seems like you're overcompensating.
Flavour and move-wise, one usually thinks of Selfdestruct/Explosion on Voltorb/Electrode before Thunder.

There is type effectiveness, and it does affect certain moves. How it effects depends on the moves.

In my opinion, I think Luv accidentally killed BTA. Polantaris died protecting the person mafia targeted, and Luv's ability super-effectively killed BTA.
I don't think Mafia would have *3* kills.

I think just checked if his Thunder (wave) could have additional effects depending on the target's type and Niernen said no. He then misinterpreted this to mean that no one else's move would be effected by target type either. Of course, not having type strengths/weaknesses would take all the fun out of this game.
