Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Worthyness - 2013-03-14

I find it funny that the most games that I have for my handhelds are 90% pokemon related. The other ones are just things I played for lulz.

plus i was waiting for the special pikachu edition, which is coming out soon Big Grin

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Niernen - 2013-03-14

I think a 3DS i worth it (more than the Wii U, and yes, i have both Tongue). There are many great games out for it, especially 1st party games from Nintendo. There are only two things i dislike about the 3DS: Only one analog stick (a seconds needs batteries and costs $30?), and no flipnote. I loved flipnote on my DSi

I do believe that may be remedied soon.

Got my 3DS for Animal Crossing. Pokemon is just a bonus.

Flipnote is coming to the 3ds? where did you see or hear this? I havent really kept up with it recently.

edit: just looked it up on wikipedia and saw the summer 2013 for flipnote 3d, cant wait. Wonder what took so long

Wait, Flipnote was announced for NA? The Direct only announced it for Japan Sad

And I should buy a 3DS for XY... Chin

Do not get a regular 3DS. The XL is a serious must-have.

The 3D effect is alot less straining to the eyes and enhances the sweet spot.

It's hard to explain, but trust me. Anyone who has tried both, feel free to chime in.

Surprised we haven't heard anything yet in regards to other new Pokemon other then Sylveon..

I'd rather not hear anything more, we're finally getting a worldwide launch (I have no willpower when it comes to avoiding online spoilers :[ ), I would like, for once, the majority of the new pokemon to be a surprise when I play.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Razmos - 2013-03-20

Honestly, I think I might withhold myself from spoilers too.

I'm waiting for Xerneas, Yvetal and Sylveon's types, and the evolutions of the starters, but apart from that I don't really care what else they reveal right now.

i was actually gonna ask if anyone played with the 3D on, i can't go on for more than 5 mins without my eyes tearing up (god forbid mario kart, that thing kills my eyes). i'll have to see how an XL fares sometime.

I never use the 3D on mine. Makes my eyes feel funny even if its on the lower settings.

And i hope they an announce version exclusives otherwise how will i know which version to buy T^T

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Link - 2013-03-20

I always use the 3D for every game I have and I have a regular 3DS. It doesn't really bother me all that much. I do wish I could get an XL, though. Maybe when I have the money for it.

I can't stand playing games with the 3D off, because it just doesn't feel the same. The depth given to games just feels like it gives a whole other experience.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - KhainiWest - 2013-03-20

I can't play my 3DSXL with 3d on for more than 3 minutes. It just gives me a headache. Another complaint I have for this is how the home/start/select buttons are like hard and not soft buttons. It's incredibly toiling on my poor fingers when I have to restart (Soft restart removed it seems!) a billion times because fire emblem is a peach

I have the regular 3Ds and a friend has an XL, his top screen is as bigg as the top half of my 3DS. I already have a 3DS so im not getting an XL (i know some of my friends are buying the special pikachu edition), but the XL is a better deal, unless you have really small pockets.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Loose - 2013-03-20

I have no problem playing with the 3D effect on.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Razmos - 2013-03-20

I like to play with the 3D about 3/4 on. I find it too much on max. and I figure I might as well have some 3D on, since I spent so much money for the 3DS.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Lozmaster - 2013-03-20

3D makes me feel quite bad headaches for any reasonable period of use. But I expected it to, the same happens at the cinema. I haven't turned 3D on for any period longer than 20 seconds since I got my 3DS, it's just not worth the decrease in battery life and feeling ill, for such a mediocre feature.
