I made these a while ago, but just hammered them yesterday. I realize the shoes won't resell for as much as I spent making them, but they're still cheaper than equivalent facestompers.

@ Above, no STR does not add the same amount as DEX, unless you reset that STR into DEX.

It adds the same amount by way of allowing me to keep my base STR lower. Because my shoes add 8 STR, I can add 8 more base DEX. 19 stats total with a DEX:ATT ratio of a little under 6:1 = a bit over 3 att.
Those gloves are not 5 att clean unless you're using the STR on them to equip your gun. So unless level 130+ weapons come out, they're only worth about 17-18 dex, maybe 3 att clean.
@Bribery: =( just had to be a little better than mine. Was it really worth it to hammer your shoes? A possible 2 dex doesn't seem to be worth 8.5k NX.

I was debating that myself actually (if you recall me asking in the Ask a Pirate Thread) xD. I actually used Shoe Jump 100% (Gm Scroll) on the two hammer slots so it was +4 dex. 8.5k NX is still expensive for +4 Dex but I really wanted 20+ stat shoes xD. I'm jealous that you had better luck with 60%'s though. I only got +3 before hammers.

Hm, I'm actually considering doing the same since I'm so close to having purple shoes. How much did the GM scrolls cost?
(Or rereading your post in that thread it seems like you already had them. How much are they worth anyhow)

One cost me 100m since I got it quickly after seeing the Gach smega. The other I got for 200m in the fm. I only paid that much because someone else was buying several for the same price. x_x

I planned to make Reverse shoes, but then it'd be a big waste of money for something I can't resell, so I'm settling with Canopus Boots to match my Black Canopus suit, which in my opinion is the best looking pirate overall. I don't care if I'm not currently using a MoN. I'll wear it when Pendant Expansion comes out. All I care is that I play in style, without needing all this NX to cover up the generic sauna robes/stompers/PACs/BWG that all the "pros" use. If I wanna be a pirate that has avoidance like a ninja, then I shall be a pirate with lightning reflexes like a ninja. If you wanna know, enemies have about a 38-40% to miss me. :hart:

The points in INT doesn't do much to my damage (it's there for HP washing to 18k HP); weapon attack makes the real difference. Which reminds me, I need to get 9 more weapon attack from the Cygnus Blessing.

Working on my cygnus for now (6 more wep att from it to go x_x), and trying to upgrade to a good STR overall. Sofar I've blown up about 900m on overalls with 1 15/5 9slot red duke to show for it... my aim is to top 8k range at 160, leveling my pirate isn't gonna be an option since I'm really busy with school atm.

This is what I mean by going broke trying to squeeze out every single bit of weapon attack (damage). I barely spent 150m making my Canopus Overall (40m to make an Adv Power Crystal + 100m to make an Adv DEX Crystal + 33k to make an Adv Opal + free Dragon Spirits/Scales), along with free Overall DEX 60%s.

Anyone want to guess who the godliest corsair in all servers is? I just looked through 30 pages on sleepywood corsair flaunting thread but I can't find corsairs who post their uber gear. L> pictures of corsairs with like 5.5k range @ 140 clean w/ equips posted :] if it exists... (I am kind of in need for motivation)
My request is:
1. Best HP washed corsair? CBFrancisco no doubt.
2. Best gear corsair? Maybe the same guy as above ^
