CommanderJinn Wrote:You can sell treasure you know...

I know that, but aside from the fact that rupee's are incredibely easy to get from for example rainbow fun island thingie, it's really bothersome to go to that room, sleep, wake up, talk and only be able to sell a few of your treasure, sleep, wake up, exit.

Hero mode = hard mode. Double damage and no hearts drop from enemies, pots, grass etc.

I dunno why people dislike shield bashing. I found it fun as hell. Smacking some enemy upside the head then cutting him down was satisfying.

Me too. It made shields more useful than previous games. I like the idea of using it as a weapon instead of only defense (mirror shields excluded - they were the only really useful shields in previous games).

Edit : Oh yeah. In Hero Mode, you keep ALL of your collected bugs/treasures from your first play-through and your Skyward Strike charges way faster. From the beginning, your Skyward Strike charges as fast as the True Master Sword in the first play-through and when you get to the True Master Sword on Hero Mode, your Skyward Strike charges INSTANTLY.

wait... does that make Link a criminal? Cause we definitely didn't want to save any of them.

I remember reading that in my AP Japanese class. Interesting story.

Edit : Oh... Ancient Cistern... Right.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Piggy 2.0 - 2011-12-12

Was wondering what was up with that. I was expecting a Dead Hand truth be told.

The boss was made to attack Link either way, I thought, considering what its guarding.

Fi's description of the thing said something about Ghirahim making it stronger than it was before, or something along those lines.

Nintendo of Japan put up a Golden Wii Nunchuck as a Club Nintendo reward as 600 points and if you registered Skyward Sword with Club Nintendo, you'd get to get the nunchuck for 400 points.

I checked the North American Club Nintendo site and they said they were adding new stuff as prizes, so perhaps we'll get this too! That'd be so amazing! They're (Nintendo of Japan) also giving out a 3DS game case. Not sure if that may also come to our shores.

You think that America/Europe gets the cool stuff Japan gets in club nintendo? lol.

Maybe in two years.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Justin - 2011-12-14

fff I want that nunchuk. Would go awesome with the golden remote. Why do I feel like a slave to the Zelda franchise lately? Skyward Sword, Zelda 3DS, Ocarina of time 3DS (Which I just beat last night, on master quest now), golden nunchuk ffffff.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Link - 2011-12-14

Well, it looks like we're not getting that golden nunchuck - at least not at this time. I can't really tell, though, because the Club Nintendo site is being extremely slow.

We did get the Skyward Sword/25th Anniversary poster set for 400 coins, though. https://club.nintendo.com/rewards-details/a/22517.do

Skyward Sword won the Deathmatch over at G4. http://www.g4tv.com/videos/56655/best-of-2011-videogame-deathmatch-best-of-2011-winner/

G4 basically said, "Skyward Sword only won because the Zelda fans were trying to get revenge on us for not nominating it for the Game of the Year 2011 awards." F'ucking morons.

I was trying to buy those posters at the concert, but the line was awful and they sold out, so yeah I might take them there if they don't bring the nunchuck over and the website stops being an idiot and lets me stay logged in for more than 30 seconds at a time to complete surveys.

On the note of gold controllers, this actually reminds me of a more childish time of mine. After I got the Majora's Mask gold cartridge, I went and took a marker of some sort and "painted" my grey controller. pomegranate bled onto my hands so I ended up scraping ot off with one side of a pair of scissors. Later on this scratching I did made it so that no one would buy the controller from me, so I still got it.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS] - Link - 2011-12-18

It's no wonder so many people dislike Skyward Sword. Everyone seems to play like a crack addicted retard with terrible wrist spasms. I haven't found a single video on Youtube or elsewhere (even the Japanese people) where the person plays the game the way it's supposed to be played. Everyone is just flicking their wrist like a spazztastic fucktard and all video comments are like "this guy is amazing at this game! Chuck Norris must be playing!" It's no wonder so many people are turned away from the game when everyone plays like that...
