Probably due to Basil being down causing a lot of their users to join SP. Take a look at the recent posts: a majority are from freshly joined members.

It's not really the new people that are the problem, it's the quality of their posts that are the problem. Look up at your address bar, this is southperry, not those other places that are a running joke elsewhere(not that the site is bad, but if you look at the quality of their posts, you would understand)

I use Basil for casual talk and lurk this site for the latest info (extractions).
I lol'd when this site got flooded earlier (lol800guests) because people fell back on this site and Sleepywood because they couldn't spam something on Basil that was already know by most of the community.

Golden Pickaxe doesn't come from Imps. Swift Wrenches do though.
