The problem is you're only 50. Those 10 levels make a huge difference in facerolling Hell party APCs.

So i just noticed DFO has a built in video recorder, so I thought I would try it out and maybe you guys could give me some tips and tell me what im doing wrong. This first one was mostly just to test it out and see if the quality was any good. I also ended up in a party with a lvl 48 so they pretty much did all the work.

hmmm i cant embed my video right now, but here is the link

I'm loving the new hell mode.

I'll get that Elenore eventually.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - IllegallySane - 2011-03-02

Only level 55, Jay. That's the problem. With hell mode being even more BS than before, you'll need every single level to avoid this nonsense. I am not amused how these F. Mech NPCs can juggle troll you all day.

Couple things I noticed right away from my short-lived experience with a F.Mech:

-When you have Corona out you can keep tapping the key to make it shoot faster.
-Also, keep swapping from Corona and Rolling Thunder to avoid losing them altogether.

Other than that, abuse Ancient Memory/Robotics/Time Bomb+Detonation more.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Birdie - 2011-03-03

thanks mark, the tapping corona is something i just found out about, so i tend to forget a lot, didn't know you could keep chaining back and forth though. Thanks for the tips. I am going to try and make a video of me soloing later so maybe I can get more help from that.

I'm right here. Level 57 F. Mech. :<

As an F. Mech you'd want to switch between the G-Series at least during the 1/2 way mark (when ~10 seconds left). Also, Ancient Memory affects the G-Series, but not Robotics. Robotics will be used when you have to spam your other robots in a room (still stack both when you can. +300 INT to Time Bombs and your cube skills is no laughing matter). Time Bomb and Denotation works wonders because of sheer raw damage for one hit and you can fire it to anywhere you can see. Also with maintaining the G-Series, you can keep damage up by spamming your XXXXX in between. A tricky one to do is Corona spamming and X spamming. It's quite amusing to do.

Here's a somewhat better representation of playing your F. Mech:

And okay, why do I hear a Revolver? Use a Bowgun instead; higher magic attack without the extra MP cost of an autogun at those levels.

I have just been using whatever the highest level gun i had from quest or drop was, I did just get a lvl 30 autogun from a pot today and am using that now. So you are saying i want to switch between g1 and g2 at half way not right before they run out? I'll have to get on later and try this stuff out. Thanks again for the help.

edit: oh and i just got that big cannon cube move, but some times it just shoots up in the air, is that something im making it do or does it do that on its own?

Actually, hell party is quite easy, or at least easier than I thought it would be. I had no trouble at all. I only took the screen shot since I had a perfectly time Guard to protect me from being juggled.

Switching to G-2 before entering a new room is what most Female Mechanics do.

Also, I mad that people still think Timebomb is godlike after it's been proven to have shitty DPS. My max Silver Bullet out damages max Timebomb within 6 shots.

Viper? It shoots on it's own since it's a bot. If it has a name and level above it, then it is a bot.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - IllegallySane - 2011-03-03

I know Timebomb is bad DPS, but it's not bad a burst damage move, and the fact you can aim where it explodes. How strong is max Silver Bullet anyways? I may mess around with build, see if bringing Robotics and Time Bomb down while maxing Silver Bullet and maybe some other skills will actually be better for PvE.

1.5k-2k per bullet on average to enemies that take neutral damage. I've seen over 3k per bullet to mobs in Slums Gate. Honestly, I don't use Timebomb that often and I don't miss having it maxed.

Hmmm.... I may consider this then. Gonna give it a whirl later on.

On side-note, met this Hell mode APC last night on my Hyperion. Fast is an understatement for him. Not my video, but it's still the APC.

Thanks to the title, this came in my head for no reason.

They've got
A power and a force
that you've never seen before.
They've got
the ablilty to move
and to even up the score.
No one will ever pin them down
the power lies on their side

Go Go Speedy Exos
Go Go Speedy Exos
Go Go Speedy Exos
Mighty Movin Speedy Exos

I only hope for the love of God I'd never face 4-6 of them. One was annoying enough.

After killing a +10 lvl 35 legacy bowgun, this feels pretty good.

(Lvl 40 pink bowgun btw, thus also making it my first +11 pink!)

Ok so im kinda confused about reinforcing weapons and stuff. Is +10 a lot different(aka easier to get) than +13 or something? I was messing around and ended up with a +10 gun and since it was so easy im now not sure if its as good as im thinking it is.
