Just got back from the Magic Castle! It was freaking AMAZING! Just wish I could have taken pictures inside. I went with my mom and my aunt and a group of her coworkers/friends. During one of the magic shows, with Ed Alonzo performing, I forced my mom to go up to help with a trick xD (he was asking for someone who could be motherly, so I called out that she IS my mom). Really hope to go again sometime!

An acquaintance of mine is hosting some Christmas potluck lunch gathering at her house this Friday and I didn't give it much thought because she sent invitations over Facebook as an event but then she went out of her way to personally message me hoping I'd come...
It sounds like a nice get together and all but the main problem is she's about the only person I comfortably know who will be there and the rest are people I'm not too familiar with. Ugh not sure if I should suck it up and go and be my awkward self or make up an excuse that I can't go :/ I'll feel bad for declining her invite but I'd feel worse if I went and was just a wallflower.

My girlfriend broke the news that she'll be switching schools at the end of the year.
...This wasn't the present I was expecting. Thing is, she doesn't even live in the complex area, so she's going to the correct school she should have been going to.
So now it's 8 till midnight, and I'm sitting here in a dark, damp room at the verge of crying...yea. But for what? She said she'll stay with me, but we all know long distance relationships don't work out...but, we'll come across that road when the time comes...
A very interesting day filled with mixed feelings.
