Call me crazy, but since the announcement I've been busy reading the ENTIRETY of the original DFO thread (eventhough I posted like 10 times on it only). 483 pages read, and now I am super hyped for the beta release. There better be one!

In case you guys didn't know there are two pretty decent fansites that were made since the alpha was created that seem worth mentioning. Dfojunkie and DFOnexus. If you need info you can probably get it from there.

Got my F. Launcher to 37. God she's so much stronger than my grappler was (all the events and moar drop rate and such must help too). I really hope auction house will be there right at the start in beta, because grinding for some materials is a real pain in the rear... And cube fragments... Oh god.
In beta I will probably be making my 4 f fighters, an f launcher and some kind of priest (avenger or exo). Oh, and a vagabond when they come out. Seriously, this class is broken.

Look at this, isn't this a tad OP? But I heard since the big patch KDNF got, the defense stat of the monsters was downed. And there's only 3 difficulties now.

True! Well that's not surprising since they're the female equivalent of a WM? I think? Somebody has to make a blog for KDNF since it's hard as hell to get info on their patches. Even when DFO NA was still relatively popular, our only info was on DFOS.

Vagabond got some heavy nerfs this last week.
1 of them was to their main buff which is their man source of damage.

Just check out dfcentral. It has information on all patches from all localizations of the game.

There's kind of a need to balance hard and fun. If you want hard, you can always do the end-game dungeons or run dungeons with garbage gear. Do you still have fun just exploding enemies into fine chunks compared to spending all day to even whittle down one bar? I know Rangers faced that plight regularly when they're dirt poor, and it sucks so hard. There's also the possibility that the person's account isn't brand new, so any class can seem OP.

So I have a Soul Bender at the moment but another friend told me to check out Asura and I've been seeing all of these other Slayer classes that I might have missed out on. Anyone got pros and cons on each of the Slayer classes?

Weapon master
pros
- gets to use da lightsaber!
-crazy combos
-all % I believe or mostly so if you fund it the damage can get absurd.
-fast attacking.
Cons
-if you have no moneys then it can suffers, but that probably doesn't matter while leveling.
-if you don't like melee then this class in general isn't for you.
-doesn't wear heavy armor so you can't really tank I think.
Asura
pros
-Super tanky
-Very good holds
-Medium range skills
-Does pretty good damage
-mostly fixed I think? So you don't really have to worry about reinforcing outside of suju.
cons
-Doesn't awsome until 30 or 40s?
-Missing holds sucks
Beserker
pros
-if you like bloods then you like this class
-strong fixed damage when you get frenzy I think.
-pretty tanky
cons
-kinda meh for endgame
Soul Bender
pros
-Status effect users will love you!
-your auras are awsome!
- you can summon a giant fucking whale that hits REALLY HARD when set up right
-you get a long range attack!
Cons
-you may be a slayer but you wear cloth and cloth means you squishyyy
-you get to play stay in the circle with enemies.
-if enemy doesnt stay in circle, well uh I dunno what to say.
I tried hehe . I'm sure someone else can chip in. Asura is a great class. Weapon master is fast, fast. Zerker is bloody and pretty awsome at the same time. Soul bender throws circles, puts all kinds of crap on enemies and can safely beat them down from afar!
